Jettis Owes Me Over $50,000 !!

Am I the ONLY one who Jettis seems to be jerking on thier reserves?
Its been over a yr now and all they do is have a "buffer" customer service rep tell you that they are working on it. :(

Anybody else in this situation. We need to do something about it.

This industry owes me a 2006 Shelby GT.
A Luxury pool and a mansion in the hills...

What are we going to do about it?

Didn't Jettis become part of Epochsystems?

Thee Johnclave 03-24-2005 04:53 PM

Wouncie,

First, it's been less than eight months since our sale to Paycom; not over a year. Second, no one is "jerking you around". I assure you of this. I realize this situation is frustrating and it seems like you may not be getting the straight story, but you are. It may not seem like it but we are in much the same position as you as we're repeatedly calling, providing information, undergoing reconciliation after reconciliation, etc... and we get little more than "the situation is under review, we anticipate having more information shortly".

Contrary to what some think, IPSP's do not hold client reserves and are actually prohibited from doing so as per the banking association regulations. Client reserves are held by the merchant bank and as such they are the only ones with the power to release reserves.

When we sold our IPSP portfolio to Paycom we naturally closed our merchant account. When an account the size of that which we held is closed the bank is looking at a large number of trailing credits and chargebacks with zero sales to offset them. This is the entire point of the reserve; to absorb these trailing losses. Eight months is not an uncommon time period for a bank to hold onto reserves; it's actually quite typical.

Nothing moves quickly in the banking world...especially when it comes to their letting go of funds, but there will be releases. Please continue to be patient.

If you (or any former Jettis IPSP client) have any more questions, feel free to contact me directly.

No. We did not merge, we sold our IPSP portfolio to Paycom. We still process ACH, offer merchant accounts and gateway services.

With all this going on, you didn't think of making some personal calls to people in wouncie's situation?

Is that another way to say you lost your merchant account?

That's not the way it works... If you lose your merchant account you don't get to sell it to someone, it just gets shut down.... The Paycom and Jettis folks will tell you that the sale of a portfolio has to be approved by Visa. If the account was in trouble they wouldn't have approved just moving it to a new location...

You may have sold to Epoch 8 months ago, but you owed me MY reserves for SIX months before that! Why not look into MY issue before u hit me with the default reply. You guys were bullshittin me about my $50k way before you sold to Epoch. Guess you could ask my reps, but for some odd reason they keep dissapearing. :( Anyway, enough of the smoke up my ass.... I heard this all before.

Feel Free to contact me directly when u have my money.

you guys are holding reserves from members that joined damn near two years ago. How the hell much longer do u think you need to safegaurd the money.

Your reps ALWAYS say they are working on it.... The latest is that your programmers have to make a program to confirm that you pay the webmasters the money that the banks pay you. How hard is it for you guys to just give them the list of people you owe and cut the check directly to us?!!

The login page is gone from www.jettis.com

I can see you guys now.

"Hey Joe, we have the last of the boxes loaded into the moving truck ... Go ahead and pull the plug on the Login page"

Good for you.... Hope you get your reserves.

Benny 03-24-2005 05:58 PM

I have no worries about the reserves. Jettis is a solid company and will do everything they can to get your reserves back. I've been dealing with adult merchant accounts and 3rd party billing since 97 and these guys know thier shit.

The most important thing to remember here is that Jettis does NOT have your money. The bank does... By law, the 3rd party biller is not directly involved, and has no stake in the reserves. They are just your intermediary...

Thee Johnclave 03-24-2005 06:01 PM

Wouncie,

As I said before, we don't hold the reserves. I'm not going to air the details of your past history in a public forum but will look into your account specifically in regards to reserves prior to our sale. I'll contact you directly with my findings.

That said, please provide the link you are attempting to login through. I assure you we aren't blocking your ip and I cannot replicate what you're reporting.

Thanks,

John

MikeHawk 03-24-2005 07:10 PM

We have stayed quiet and will continue to be patient and wait for our money, Ken Lawson and Kjell has spoken to us serveral times and has explained the situation in full detail to us.

In fact before Chris Mallick left Paycom he made a call on our behalf to find out what the story was. At that time Chris said "not to worry about it, and the problem will be resolved"

Time marchs on and we know that Jettis is doing everything in there power to collect all of money, so today we are not worried about it.

If I might suggest to call them direct thru the Jettis number and they will pick or call you right back as they did with us, for sure :thumbsup

We want our money as bad as you do for sure! The "real feeling" i got was they want to make sure they get our money and everyone elses!

Webby 03-24-2005 08:52 PM

Damned processors!

Is it an inherent inability to run a biz that causes them to be constantly "restructuring" or going bust??

They ALL need an independent oversight/regulatory body auditing their accounts monthly and independent escrow services responsible for cash handling.

Screw em all.

Thee Johnclave 03-24-2005 09:03 PM

MikeHawk... Thanks for the support and your patience.

Wouncie... I believe you spoke with Kjell approximately 3 weeks ago. He's out of town but I'll speak with Ken and ask that he call you tomorrow, or you can call in as MikeHawk suggested.
