Fuck that driver. 85 mph around a 35 mpg turn. Fuck him and his car for reckless endangerment.

ModelPerfect 03-11-2005 08:59 AM

Seeing some of those awesome cars wrecked makes me just want to cry. *sigh* the Cobra, Saleen S7, GT 40, Viper (destoyed the only Viper in Slavia. lol)...

35 mph turn for a normal car

Come on man. I agree it's a shame such a nice car was wrecked, but that logic's like an alcoholic rationalizing the 4 measly shots he had before wrapping his car around a tree didn't effect him. Sure he could have been "sober", sure the car "could have" handled a 35mph turn at 85 mph, but are both reckless to try in public? Yes.

hova 03-11-2005 09:04 AM

what a waste

do you know he drank anything ?

do you know the reason why he crashed his car ?

would you always drive this in the speed limits?

I'm not saying he drank anything - it was a comparison. I'm just saying that in THIS CIRCUMSTANCE, 85 around a 35 degree turn, regardless of what you are driving, is excessive and reckless.

Susan F 03-11-2005 09:11 AM

I wish I could stop time the second one of those amazing cars are going to be totalled, replace it with a shitty hyundai and keep that amazing piece of machinery for myself!

e-god 03-11-2005 09:16 AM

its hard to say thats it was a ferrari

you didnt answer my last question.

i know how it is to sit in such a car.

and i know how hard it is drive "normal".

on the pic its night.
so you dont know how late it was and where it was.
maybe it was an empty road the driver knew ( that at this point of time nobody would be there) maybe other influences made the driver brake.

i dont excuse him but i know that you cant always blame the driver because of facts written in newspapers or in the internet.

dont judge anybody unless you really know what happend

The car probably did not look like this after the crash, the engine caught fire so what you see is a burned down car and rescuers most likely had to cut the car in order to take out the driver.

maddox 03-11-2005 09:27 AM

On this photo you see that car burned down almost entirely, notice the burnt front wheel

Funbrunette 03-11-2005 09:28 AM

It's just metal no? :winkwink:

you are right...
but this is weird

such a expensive car burns so easily ?

psili 03-11-2005 09:30 AM

I was only concerned with one of the few facts the article had in it: 85 around a 35 turn. In my opinion it's reckless, and whether he couldn't handle driving that fast, or if the tread on the tires was poor, or if he hit a patch of gravel that caused him to hit the curb and bounce him into the tree -- the speed was excessive and the driver should be thanking some higher power that his recklessness didn't cost him his life.

That's all man. And you're totally, right regarding the lack of facts in the short text blurb: Perhaps a wheel fell off, or the brakes failed, or the throttle stuck and he couldn't slow down -- however, I'm pretty jaded and am more inclined to think he was an asshole speeding.

It's actually very frightening that it's almost unrecognizable as a car. I would definitely have had to change my pants after an accident like that.

Sosa 03-11-2005 09:34 AM

poor car

It's expensive car because it's Enzo and because its body is made of carbon fiber. Beside if it was engine fire, the fuel tank could explode. I cannot see anything weird in that, I have seen many photos with burnt cars and every car looks like this after fire :)

MandyBlake 03-11-2005 09:45 AM

he lived coming out of that car???
man oh man.
when its not your time to go.....
