While I can understand their style and their history, I would never own one. Not my thing.
|
Now, if I was to buy a British car.... let's talk Aston Martin.

Combining the old body style with modern rims like that just doesn't work for me. Will a modern version of a classic ever be a classic car itself?

Interesting.

that car is fucking hot.
But I agree with who ever mentioned the rims. Of course now, if your spending tons of money on a car you can probably afford custom rims to match the classic look of the car. |

lol ya, I think he went from 17 lcd's last year to 28 now. The car just won Best of Show Award and was also awarded with Best Show Car on the Continent @ Hot Import Nights in L.A. Check it out if it's at a show near you this year; it has a working Optimus Prime in it. |

i'd pick any ferrari or porsche over that aero 8 anyday...

Nismo Z tune GTR. Twin turbo, 500HP and 400TQ, at the wheels. It is the fastest accelerating road car currently made. Runs the quarter mile in 10.02 seconds, much faster than all those pesky little ferrari enzo's and mclaren f1's. Stroked RB26 GTR motor now rated at 2.8 liters. Carbon airbox, custom intake and exhaust manifolds, big IHI ballbearing turbo's blowing through a huge front mount intercooler. The engine itself is almost identicle in specs to the same engine Nismo uses at the 24h Nurburgring races. Suspension come with triple adjustable remote reservoir Sachs race shocks with adjustable fabricated links.
http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/...ztunevents.jpg http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/...s/ztunegtr.jpg All the vents and scoops on the front end have a purpose. They feed and exit air from heat exhangers. The "square" front fenders allow the two oil coolers to work better. It's not cheap either, you're looking at $160,000 large for one. But when you compare it to a lambo, ferrari or the like, not only does it perform better, it's a hell of alot cheaper :thumbsup Er.. I'll own one. One day. |

A 500 horsepower Skyline is not going to run 10 seconds flat.

Edit: And dont forget, AWD does wonders for quarter mile times. The lower the 60 foot, the faster you're gonna be :thumbsup |
