US Army of Fools
Unfortunately the richest army in the world is led by the biggest fools and assholes...

It`s foolish driving 100 km/h to the airport in Baghdad.

But Mr Romano insists the "tragic outcome" of her abduction should not be allowed to fuel anti-US sentiment in Italy. |
The army did the right thing. You got a car speeding toward a check point ignoring signs to stop & warning shots. They've seen this a thousand times. A few seconds later & boom! a car bomb kills & hurts God knows how many people. No way around it, the Army did the right thing. People can bitch & complain but, unless they are there, they have no right to say the actions they(Army)took was wrong!

The Italian "intelligence" officer gets the Darwin Award for speeding towards an army checkpoint in an area renowned for suicide bombings. How thick can you get?
|
Not to mention the ignorance of the Italian Intel officer for not alerting the controlling forces of their plan and/or route. A little "pre-planning" goes a long way! It's almost like the Italians WANTED it to happen, asked for it. No one in Intel could be that fucking stupid! Or, could they???
|
euhmm, lots of newsreports are CONTRADICTING each other
of course the us is going to claim they did nothing wrong and it was the car that got the bullets made a mistake by not stopping , what else they going to say ? ? I just heard now a newsreport on the radio that the husbant of the journalist got word from her in the hospital that the americans wanted to KILL her because she had info on the us army troops in fallujah that the us didn't want to world to know this story is developing and "the car was speeding and refused to stop" is to stupid of a story for anyone to take serious , the Italians are now saying the us knew very well who was in that car and it was an assasination gone wrong my bet this is going to cause some SERIOUS DRAMA , when it is confirmed that us wanted that sgrena DEAD ! .... |
Well....last story seems to be interesting....have u ever think that u never will know the truth???Or better they don't want to tell you the truth :))) Lets what Sgrena will say in the next days it would be interesting...and yes Fake Nick opinion is interesting :)

Like the wife of the killed Italian officer said: the soldiers are not to blame but the people in charge are to blame, hence the fools and the assholes that I am referring to... Blaming individual soldiers for widespread and systematic torture and abuse approved by their superiors in US led prisons has only been a way to safe the highest ranked asses. This war is a farce. If you still haven't found out about that, please start wiping the shit out of your eyes. Do you really think the US army didn't know who was in that convoy? Are you that naive?? Her liberation was the main news of the week. This smells fishy, very fishy... |

Yeah pretty obvious not to many ex-soldiers on gfy, in all wars friendly fire happens every day. You should hear some of the stories my father tells me from WWII where it was not rare to drop a bomb on or shoot down your buddies due to crap technology, bad weather, and the mass confusion that happens when you are 19 and people are shooting at you.
Only a true idiot could believe this was anything other than what it was, a traggic accident, and only a bigger idiot could think these sorts of incidents will ever decrease in an area where muslims routinely drive towards you so they can blow themselves up. |
Perhaps next time they should send in negotiators who have the brains to slow down for a checkpoint.

40 km/h would have been better ... on the most dangerous road in the world !!!! |
toooooooo many traggic accidents caused the the US soldiers (Germany, Italy, Iraq). isn't it?

Coincidence that this checkpoint was an " unusual one " ... |

how funny is that? |

This is what Guiliana Sgrena has to say: "I was especially shocked because we thought that by then the danger was past," she told Italy's Rai radio. Ms Sgrena, who was wounded in the incident, has been sent to a military hospital in Rome for an operation. She denied US military accounts that the car was speeding past a checkpoint when it was fired upon. Unfortunately for the US government they didn't manage to kill her... |
The only person to blame here is the idiot who was driving the car.
A similar incident happened a while back where a bunch of innocent people got killed for the same exact reasons. It's common sense. Iraq is being attacted by terrorists who drive cars at high rates of speeds into checkpoints and other areas. It would seem pretty clear to me that when your driving up to a checkpoint WITH ARMED GUARDS that you would SLOW DOWN and PAY FUCKING ATTENTION and DO WHAT YOU ARE TOLD TO DO. We have a nuclear power plant outside of Phoenix here. I'm pretty God damn fucking sure that I drove up to the gate at 50mph and REFUSED TO STOP AFTER THEY FIRED WARNING SHOTS that I would be shot too. |

If the US wanted her dead and knew it was her in the car, how hard would it have been to walk over to the car after the firing stoppedand, look in and realize she was alive and put a bullet in her head? If you are going to make shit up at least make it somewhat plausibe. |

and they would explain it how then ???? |
Quote:
If everyone in the car was dead and the only witnesses were the soldiers.... Do I really need to go on? If they wanted her dead I am pretty sure she would be. |
Blah, blah, blah. Here we go again.
|
If everyone in the car was dead and the only witnesses were the soldiers....
Do I really need to go on? If they wanted her dead I am pretty sure she would be. Kinda tough to explain the killing of an entire convoy..., no? :1orglaugh |

or is this from tin foil hat radio only? :1orglaugh |
I believe most Iraqis know what the Rules of Engagement and SOP?s are by now. Especially after their TV channels put out these procedures so people wouldn?t be mistakenly killed by US troops.
|
How funny is it that a italian journalists gets kidnapped by terrorists and comes out bashing the united states.
|
Jesus Christ people, try to think a little before you moan on and on like this.
Lets say... You are given orders to kill an innocent journalist. Never mind that for that to happen, quite a few people would have to know and if caught you would spend possibly life in prison... And its almost impossible to keep a secret in the U.S., so you will be caught... But you are stupid, so you agree to do it anyway... Then you do it IN FRONT of witnesses (other soldiers) and leave some alive to tell their side, not say 1 mile before the checkpoint, where you could easily dress in Iraqi clothes and claim its just another terrorist attack? Oh, ok... and I assume the US is keeping aliens a secret too, always the same folks, and you probbly think we are keeping Elvis alive too. |
Quote:
Have you forgotten the "incident" of the Palestine Hotel in Bagdad not even two years ago where the US targetted and killed non-embedded journalists? Yep, the tank firing the grenate got the order directly from his superiors. The US government doesn't exactly bother keeping secrets, they just lie about everything. Welcome to the matrix :upsidedow |

Read what she wrote about the US troops in Iraq : http://www.ilmanifesto.it/pag/sgrena...d721e0ff0.html And tell me that the Hawks liked her .... Good news is that Saddam h torture rooms, prisons and mass graves are not his anymore to play with. The bad news is that they are now under new administration : the US of A. |

I thought kennedy's quote really helped people decide who to vote for. |

Goes with the 9/11 approach : Saudis fly planes in the WTC, Americans attack Iraq... Pretty good logic. |

THE USA keeps way more secrets and thruths from its population than you think. |

wow, thats great logic. I can pretend that I dont understand the war on terrorism, so I have to disagree with you. |

I forgot that you and dan rather were the keeper of the U.S. secrets. You are getting funier |
