the guy that got beat up was a bitch. Unless I thought it was fucked up for some reason, which one on one is pretty fair, I would have let it go on too. The guy that beat him up is a dumb ass for doing it in front of video cameras.

Ok, I've been punched before...
never caught off guard with a blow to the head like that BUT....
ok correction, I did catch a blow like that one time...
and my reaction was to be alert and defensive..
that guy didn't get knocked out with the first punch...
he simply reacted very poorly to the punch..
and if he had actually fought back, I don't see how he could have gotten beaten that badly

The most ironic part here is that this couple was in the wrong at all times, and started all of this - the confrontation and the first punch. This man was already on probation and deserved more than four years for this.

if the kid would have waited a minute, he would have seen that the cashier guy would have told her to get in line or ignored her... i see it happen all the time... im the type who is on the verge of saying something about line cutters, but i find that if i wait, they get put in their place by the person at the cashier, saving me the stress of potentially having to maul someone...

You don't know the reason she cut in front of the line...she could have ordered a pizza 10 mins ago and went somewhere else and then come back to check if it was done. That seems to be the logical explanation...
