Blogs are Hot, how to generate income .
 

It seems Blogging is hot and some people start to make money out of it.

Good Blogs are well indexed by Google and get pretty good SE traffic.

We just launched a Blog service:

Since surfers like the personal touch of blogs and feel quite secure on them they could generate a income.

My question is:
We are thinking of adding a tool that you can "upload": your own galleries to a blog, so the income on that blog is yours. Because it's part of AJ community you get traffic to it. You could make it personal by chhoosing colors/templates/ and adding text and updates. becasue we host it for you we will place some form of advertisement to take 404 ofcource.

Right now we have 117 blogs, they get traffic from us and SE.

Would you run such a blog ?
And what options would you like to have ? ( Trading scripts ? )

Not "ours" , surfers from askjolene that like to keep a personal blog. By updating it they get traffic on it , they can even see their own stats !

im so sick of everything being about galleries - thats great that you have started a blog service but there are MANY other ways to get sales without having to stick a bloody gallery on everything

sponsors nearly entirely cater for the tgp market these days - youve started a blog service - AWESOME - dotn turn it into a tgp clone

Thanks for the advice, we will launch a few new functions so people can choose from templates and have the option top add more text., that should diversify the blogs.

Would webmasters be interested if the look and feel of the blogs are more flexible ?

i don't think that one needs an empire of blogs .
When you run a 3 TGPs , do you need an empire of TGPs ? you build a trades yourself and you build your TGPs and make $$.
Ofcourse, you can run 20 TGPs or whatever, but why do you need a trade union?

As for the option to upload gallerys I think its a very bad idea, I mean blogs have mostly text and having gallerys would only worsen things out :2 cents:

But uploading means a wbematser can keep their own blogs and make some money with it, get high traffic if the Writing is good and they meantain their blogs.. They can choose how they want the blog to look and where they want to add the galleries and how they want to add them ( thumbs/ descr links)

no, i don't think there are any haters. I think what AJ is doing is a great idea to generate more traffic/revenue. Only point we're all trying to make is to help AJ realize what is & isn't a blog. and as you can see from AJ's replies, they are adding more real-blog features to their concept.
