Get the Cadilac or Luxus convertible hardtop. Thats as big pimpin as it gets unless you wanna spend double.

take that 80...spend between 7500 and 14 and get an ole school (american made). something that will appreciate in value over time...none of these new cars are worth 2 nickels.... :2 cents:

get yourself an M3, I'm picking up mine on monday :)

Get a 2005 Z06 (or its initial year may be a 2006) its super car numbers and about $70k

0-60 in 3.7 seconds
0-100 in 7.3 seconds
1/4 mile in 11 seconds (maybe faster)

If you want a bit more lux and 4 doors the 2006 Cadillac STS-V is absolutely amazing. 440 hp from a beautiful variable valve timed supercharged northstar hooked up to a brand new 6L80e 6 speed tranny.

Get a Lotus Elise or Exige (not sure how much the Exige is though) This thing is light, fast, and proabbly the best handling car in the world. No one has them and they arent that expensive. Slaloms faster that ferrari and everyones beloved z06. spend the money you saved by not sepdning all 80K and buildup the engine and you have a ferarri/z06/porsche eater

you could also try an audi rs, acura nsx, or an m6 when it comes out. i personally think a 645 looks sweet and with 500hp it will be even sweeter...bah to the m5. audi isnt exactly a sports car but fast as hell. not much you can get for 80K that is mind blowing.

I'm over my mid-life crisis now. It has no mods. It's a ZO6, comes only 1 way basically.

Main differences in the ZO6 versus a reg coupe or conv. are:

405 HP LS6 (Aluminum Block & Heads) Only available in the ZO6
Titanium Exhaust
Race Suspension & Brakes
Thinner Glass
Special Battery

I forget what else

You drive a ZO6 and then drive a regular vette, you can hear & feel the difference immediately as soon as you turn the key!

Get a Shelby Cobra for around 80k

or 1969 SS Camaro.

Forgot to mention that I have 2 other vehicles, this was just a toy. It has stayed in the garage and I only let it out for short sprints.

Not a daily driver, it looks and smells new and serviced by GM, all records available, never crashed, 0 scratches.

BMW M5. cant go wrong there.

Biggest piece of junk that I owned...only good for straight aways; absolutely useless for handling.

though I am not sure what they are like now. (rent one for the weekend before you buy it)
