That's actually true. Have done it a couple of times and it's really not that expensive.

Do these go the same speed as the larger jets? Or how long would a typical cross country trip take? Say Los Angeles to New York...

Those prices are great for groups. When i fly now i have 2-3 people with me most of the time so it would save me some cash for sure. Where can you not go? Is hawaii ok?.....western europe....etc?
