Shawshank Redemption

Yeah, the Sixth Sense has a terrific ending. Tomb Raider and Resident Evil have cool endings too.

Usual Suspects would be 2nd imo though.

However, I just bought the mini-series From the Earth to the Moon, so I'll defer my ultimate opinion on my viewing of that in it's entirety. I'd like to see how that turns out, and then I'll lend my opinion.

The Game. Fucking awesome movie. Keeps you guessing until the VERY end.

As of recent (within the past year or two), aside from my choice Shawshank Redemption - I'd say, Matchstick Men, with Nicholas Cage had a great ending as well.

I dunno the Lawrence Connor movie clip had a pretty funny ending as well!

I'm going to have to check out "The game". I few people recommended that to me but I never got around to seeing it.

I agree about Fight Club, that's another great ending.

OH YEAH! WHAT ABOUT "SEVEN"!?? My jaw dropped at that ending. "WHAT'S IN THE BOX!!??"

Right after I posted, I thought about adding that one to my list.

Definately one of the all time best endings there.

But I think the best ending EVER was The Godfather. It's has a LOT of meaning.

When I first saw the godfather I was about 22. I was old enough to really appreciate the arc that Michale goes thru and that last shot of him in the office and the door closing was bad ass. You're just like, DAAAAYYYYUUMMM!!!

I liked the ending of American History X but I expected it to happen. I think the best endings are always totally unexpected. But yes that was a great damn movie.
