My home got burglarized. FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
I am in the middle of changing homes, and I took my dogs with me to the new home on Wednesday morning. Left most of my stuff behind in the old home, planning on coming back that night.
At 8pm I came back and found the front sliding door forced and open. They had gotten inside the house, and stole a shit load of stuff: the Xbox that I gave my wife for Xmas, the DVD player, all my DVDs, all the Xbox games, a discman, a floppy adapter, JVC video camera new in its box, my wife's Huffy bycicle, you name it! And the worst part: the stole our passports, social security cards, birth certificates, etc... The thieves left their dirty clothes on the floor and left wearing some of my clothes and tennis shoes. They even ate a pizza that we had sitting on top of the stove, and tried to steal a GFY shirt (it was in a suitcase in the living room, where they put some shirts, tennis shoes, a stereo, tools, etc., but I guess they didn't have the space to take the suitcase with them.) I am so pissed off! My wife is very depressed. We went to the cops and they didn't even come to lift fingerprints. Such a bullshit! It is very frustrating. We live in Mexico, and every American we have talked to, has told us that their homes have been burglarized at one point or another. These fucking Mexicans target Americans, instead of kissing our feet thanking us for the good things that we do for them (donations out the ass for their Red Cross, their schools, hospitals, etc.) |
Sorry to hear it man but if you want your stuff back i've got a low reserve on ebay:)
|
You gave your wife an X-Box for Christmas?
OK, sorry. That's a hell of a bummer, man. That violated feeling sucks ass because you can't do anything about it. You'd love to rip the thieves' arms off and beat them to death with their own limbs but all you can do is make a list of everything that was stolen for some surly cop to file at the precinct. Sorry to hear it. SpaceAce |
I don't bother calling cops for stuff like this anymore. I'd suggest a private investigator if you really want to get the fuckers
|
did you ever see the movie bottlerocket with owen and luke wilson?...great flick..might want to pick it up if you start a new dvd collection

"These fucking Mexicans target Americans, instead of kissing our feet thanking us for the good things that we do for them (donations out the ass for their Red Cross, their schools, hospitals, etc.)"
Now i don't feel sorry for you. |
I'm really sorry to hear about that. If it makes you feel any better we were broken into in the USA and the cops were about as concerned - no prints or anything. That uncaring aspect my not be unique to Mexico. However, I hope the cops catch the guys that did it and you get some of your stuff back. I do get consolation from the fact that karma comes back and the people that do shit like that are in line for some really, really bad karma.

"We live in Mexico"
You should hire a couple of them to guard your home. |
fuck man, sorry to hear that.
|
thats sad, sorry to hear
|
That's gotta suck, sorry to hear.
|
Wow, that must really suck to have your things stolen like that, but it has nothing to do with Mexicans. It could happen just as easily anywhere you live. The only difference is that you wouldn't be saying "The damn Americans broke in here and robbed me" You'd probably just say that you got robbed and leave the ethniticity out of it.
I am American and I live in Cancun Mexico. We have alot of American and foriegn friends here that have never had a problem with Mexicans stealing like that. Maybe you pissed someone off or something. |

We would like him to get paid more, but you don't do things like that here. So we just give him extra tips and gifts for all his hard work:) |

I used to own a ranch out in temecula above lake elsinore in the cleveland national forest ( a place illegal aliens would frequent through). I had 6 acres, 3 story home, 4 guest houses and it would be robbed about once per year. I only went out there once per month or so, for a day or two.... they would steal all my dirtbikes from the garage, guns, ammo, gasoline, oil, cards, trashbags (a favorite for making raincoats), etc... Funniest time was when they got into the mighty dog thinking it was human food.. i found a fork in a half eaten can one time. lol. I knew it was those damn illegals from the "fiesta" brand cigarette filters i would find lying around. |
You gave your wife an Xbox?! j/k man
Sorry to hear about this. |
thats what you get for living in a shithole country
|
sucks to hear that. best of luck getting everything sorted out.

They stole your Wife's Huffy? :1orglaugh
Good thing they didn't take anything that great (unless you had an assload of DVDs) |
I really hate to hear that. I know you and Czarina will make it through, though. Don't let her worry about this. She's got better things to think about right now with the baby on the way.
I hope you guys recoup soon. At least you weren't home when it happened. That could have been really, really bad. Keep your chin up. Let me know if I can do anything. :) :thumbsup |

And, it's really not that cheap to live in Mexico. Alot of people seem to have the wrong idea about that. You can find bargains, that's for sure, but if you come to Mexico just to live cheap, you'd be in for a big surprize :winkwink: |

OMG that totally sucks! :Oh crap The personal documents are the worst. Ugh... indentity theft is no joke, it could ruin your life. Being violated is a horrible feeling. Karma will catch up with them if the cops don't.
Beef up the security at the place you're moving to.... obviously you have to police your own property if the real authorities don't care enough to. Fences and gated driveways are not only for the rich and famous anymore... maximum privacy and strong security is a necessity these days. When I was little we used to leave our doors unlocked 24/7 and keys in the cars (just the 80s not even the 1950s) ... now I keep all doors locked 24/7 and would love to have an 8 foot brickwall surrounding my house! |
I was ripped off too, years ago.
The police officer I talked to told me that 99% of the time, it was someone I knew who did it. So, I mentioned a old friend of mine. Guess what? He was the one who did it. |
burglarized?
|
sorry to hear it, and I mean this with all bullshit aside, but what do expect in fucking mexico?
|
That sucks but we live in Cancun Quintana Roo and while I know that burglaries happen, we take steps to make it more difficult even though our area is mostly peaceful and quiet of incidences like that.
You say sliding glass door.. the worst. Did you have bars and/or a locking gate on it or just the glass? Anyone can get into an arcadia door in 10 seconds. Did you have any kind of security system on the house? You can go to Wal-Mart or Radio Shack and buy a little expandable security system that you can install yourself. One thing I learned is that locks are designed to keep honest people honest. If someone really wants what you have, they will get it. With that said .. most of the people I know down here aren't too motivated to go out of their way for something special. What I mean is that the little red flashing light on my dash, the locked gate and window bars and the sight of security equipment is a great deterrant. Let someone else be an easier target with less work and trouble .. down the road. Don't tell me that you rent and that's why the bars aren't on the door .. Our neighbor just had a new door gate and 2 large window gates made and installed for $1,700 MX. I'd think that's cheaper than what you just went through AND you could make some deal to leave them OR take them with you and re-use them or the materials somewhere, sometime. AST ICQ 121760557 |

I wouldn't live in any of those places due to the danger factor and undesireable living conditions. There was 26 murders in Q. Roo last year, (2004). 1 was a guy on some freaky drugs who ate his male lover. 11 were casualties in the narco war, executions all in one day. Pretty much the rest were domestic or fight related. There were 2 rapes I believe in Cancun Hotel Zone, comitted on tourists by tourists. There was a kid who did a smash and grab on a beer run and ran into the lagoon area to get away and got bit by a croc in 2,000. So, all bullshit aside, that's what I expect. Where do you live ? San Diego .. Cancun is safer .. :) AST |

But with an attitude like that, I'm surprised you didn't get shot. |
Sorry to hear about your place getting robbed :(
At least no one was hurt... |
That really sucks man
|
WOW, that tally sucks dude. :(
|
You should have kept the dogs where your possessions were.
|
:Oh crap
sucks, hope things get better. |
Sorry to hear that. Dont your insurance cover it ?
