is there really a cure for hiv?? i mean maybe there is but the big pharm companies dont wanna release it.. does anyone have any info about hiv cure?

good question. i always believed that the virus was originally a military weapon, so they always had a cure but they wont release it.

I don't know about the government but thge pharmecutical companies make more money on treatment than they do on a cure. PErhaps that's why we haven't seen anything cured in a good long time. Then again I would think the first company out with a cure to a big disease would make alot of bucks for awhile and their stock price would sky rocket which is very important in ways most people don't usually get.

Another point here is people have seen time and time again how shortsighted corporate thinking is and often complain about the stupidity of it, so why would one assume they are suddenly patient and not shortsighted when it comes to cure vs. treatment?

OK I'll bite.

Two very simple things to point out.

1. The US government and pharmaceutical companies are not the only governments and pharmaceutical companies in the world looking for a cure. Get a grip please

2. Supposing Im wrong and no one else in the world is looking for a cure. Then keeping something like this a secret would take 1000's of people from government people to doctors from not talking. Now this is where the theory falls down, for two main reasons. Most doctors are doctors because they want to cure people. If they had cured aids they would tell people. But more importantly. I have never met one American who can keep their mouth shut about anything. Let alone 1000's of Americans all keeping their mouths shut about the biggest medical breakthrough in history. Not gonna happen

if every HIV victim pays $700 a month on meds, why would the Gov want you to pay one big bill instead of a bunch of $700 ones the rest of your life?? The American Government " i think" is the most crooked thing in this world...

They would get the best treatment available. That does NOT include a cure.

Some people live just fine with the HIV and it never turns in to AIDS.

I saw a tv show recently where they were interviewing all these people who were getting infected on purpose as some sort of game because they thought they could just take a pill later and cure it... then were shocked to find out there is no cure
