How can you compare that at all.

I mean you seem to have more business sense than most of the board but still.

It takes NO work at all to grow a bunch of trees.

To make a website and domain profitable and brandable takes a TON OF WORK.

See the difference.

A GFY'er has that in beta testing already :)

azguy 12-30-2004 10:23 PM

Up-to-date charts detailing current payouts by most programs (when one announces a special $200 PPS for the weekend - make sure your tech guys know how to handle it chart-wise).

Yahoo now offers RSS feeds from boards that publish those.

Something like a real-time compilation of all the webmaster specials? That's a great idea!

I would never do that. Plus she's well known and we're friends and I'm participating in the project.

Is it going to be your regular resource site? Anything special you want to say to help come up with more ideas?

Thinking about having a hilarious webmaster humor gallery section where we can archive all the funny pics we create around here.

I don't know if it's a good idea.. It may make the site seem not serious and unprofessional. It will, however, probably keep webmasters coming back for more :)

brand0n 12-30-2004 11:01 PM

pay someone like dugmor (ofcourse hes busyin doing tons of shit with joinrightnow.com, just using him as an example as hes always traveling) to go meet the webmaster. state to state to state. all of em. everybody who would want to get involved. from big names to 1 click weekend warriors.

Not sure what you mean on this. Like a direct meeting hands on advice sevice feature?

brand0n 12-30-2004 11:09 PM

Like a state to state country wide tour to meet the people behind whats going on. to find out who they are, where they live, what they do, who they do it with, what they eat for dinner, who they hang out with, what cars they drive, where they work. excetara excetara

kinda like mtv cribs, but for webmasters. and not to exclude anyone. that way everyone gets to know there peers.

meet the webmaster?

I think what might work best is a system like e-bay uses where you can archive comments about your business experiences with companies.

JJSLIMM 12-31-2004 01:44 AM

hmmm...

How about a site like WebmasterSponsors.com that only offers sponsor's video commercials, their special offers and sponsored free promotional gifts thats are used at shows etc to atract new business.

SykkBoy 12-31-2004 02:08 AM

I like the idea of rich media where you can see the program owner in a vid clip and get some personalization associated. Is that WebmasterSponsors yours? Next time we're on ICQ let's discuss some ideas on that.
