This is a matter of scientific fact, not an opinion or theory that can be argued, disputed, or debated.

No number of excuses about thyroid problems, being "big boned" will get around it. And no matter how many times you watch Oprah...no matter how many diet books you buy from Dr. Phil....no matter how many times you blame your husband/boyfriend for damaging your "self-esteem" because they pointed out that your fat gut is not exactly turning them on, you will never lose weight unless you eat less (reduce caloric input) and exercise more (increase caloric output).

Yeah, Nick, I think you are right. We need to be a kinder and gentler society, more accepting of fat people.... I mean it's like any other addiction. But it is frustrating when there's no room on the bus because the lady next to you has an ass so big that it takes up both seats... :1orglaugh
