I voted for Kerry.
I don't see Bush drafting anyone anytime soon. The funny thing is...... Kerry was the one who was talking about expanding the Army. |

the war is going like shit still isnt it? what has bush done right? the troops complained on tv, so they are finally ordering armored vehicles, not because they want to help the troops, but to cover thier own asses.

Its only a matter of time before a draft is in place. The governement just doesnt offer enough incentives to join volunteerly, and if Bush wants to keep on his rampage to rule the world, he will need everyones ass on the front line. |
The only good Bush is a shaved Bush!
Over the next four years the other Bush will either continue to do real damage to the country or surprise me by gaining wisdom and intelligence. As to why I for one am quite, nothing new has happened, just a continuing series of mistakes at home an abroad. I am still emotionally exhausted by the election and the disbelief that the unshaved Bush was relected. |

To disagree with the government is as American as to agree. To follow blindly is to be a fool and your arrogant ignorance makes you a fool. This is a global community not an American world. Not understanding that the rest of the world counts makes you ignorant. Not understanding the US is stuck in a quagmire in Iraq makes you ignorant. Since you are clearly to young to have lived any history try reading some. |

Typical Texan dumbfuck. Repeats Andy Coulter word for word. Hate to spread some actual truth into that moth den you call your head but the truth is Bush and the people that support him are anti-american, ya fucking dumb hick. |

I'm still very worried about our country. With this guy at the wheel anything could happen. I heard a rumor that he may appoint his wife "porn czarina" soon. A woman from back woods Texas that has only been a Librarian and a housewife her whole life. That?s a pretty scary idea.
No, Bush is not done fucking things up. I'm sure the next 4 years will bring a few more colossal mistakes. I'm worried that the US government ten years from now will not represent me at all. Having said that I'm not going anywhere and I intend to fight every step of the way. |

I think the Republicans expect Dems to be like "oh, you're right, I take it all back, Bush was the better man" since he won the election. But Bush is just as hated as ever. It's not like Clinton or Reagan who had some support across the board and were generally well-liked. What happened is we have the whole Bible Belt who always votes Republican and Kerry didn't reach out enough to the people in the middle ground.
So, there's no point in continuing a big stink about things now, that would just enforce the idea of the whiny liberal. People were taking some pretty strong stands before the election because we were trying to rally people to get out and make the right decision. At this point, it's just wait and see. As hated as Bush is, if he continues to make the wrong moves, there's people who will want a revolution. This country is still as divided as ever. :2 cents: |

I would say Andy is a little more accurate. |

I thought people like you were hit by cars and culled from the population at a relatively young age. Your ability to survive this long with such a severe mental handicap is a marvel of nature. |

well guess what. I fucking hate Bush and I voted for kerry and i am still love america. I know people who voted for bush think they are the "majority"....wrong motherfuckers! there's more to this world than just the USA and i hope we never have to find that out the hard way! |
Well hes not back into power officialy yet, that starts in Jannuary :)
4 years ago people said dont vote bush cause he'll start a war? dont vote Bush cause your economy will die and your country will go into recession? well you didnt listen did you hehe |
i listened and didn't vote for the asshat either then
|
I voted for Kerry but I never said that there would be a draft or that he would shut down online porn. I did say that he might try to crack down on online porn and one of my main worries about him was Ashhat being in the AG's seat. Now that he is out that may be less of a threat. But bush is filling his cabinet with "yes" men and people who will not question him or oppose his way of thinking. this could be dangerous in many ways.
He was a lame duck president before 9/11 for about 15 months afterwards he did some good and he is now back to being a lame duck. Look at the cabinet turnover. It is tradition that all the cabinet members resign and he keeps the ones he wants. This is normally done in private and around the time of the inaugeration. Those that really want to leave either do it way before ( like they have been in the last month ) or a little while afterwards so as not to make waves. But his cabinet looks like rats trying to get off the sinking ship. I hope he will do good things for us, but I fear that he will not. |
<rant>
I did not vote for Bush when he ran for governor of Texas so I sure as hell did not vote for him to be President. He won the governor's race with lies and dirty tricks and then used that same formula to become president. His own mother thought he was retarded when he was younger. I have seen nothing that proves she was wrong. He turned a budget surplus into the largest deficit ever. Thanks to him the economy has turned to shit. He got the US into a war, under false pretenses, without the support of our "allies" for personal vengeance and to enrich his cronies. He weasled his way out of combat himself thanks to daddy's influence and then attacked the integrity of a man who had the courage to serve in that war before criticizing our involvement. He did not adequately plan for the war or occupation afterwards so that nothing but the oil ministry was guarded when we took the country and as a result everthing else was ransacked and stolen. This may have been posted here: Q. What's the difference between Viet Nam and Iraq? A. Bush had a plan to get out of Viet Nam. I don't understand his support from the bible thumpers when he is obviously a liar, says things like "who's that asshole?" and raised two drunken sluts. Not that I don't appreciate drunken sluts, but I didn't know the holy rollers do. He was a failure as a businessman and was bailed out by daddy's buddies, including the bin Laden family, on numerous occasions. The least he could do in return was to allow the bin Ladens to fly out of the US when all other planes were grounded. He was not THE owner of the Texas Rangers. He owned a whopping 2% of the team and was only a figurehead team president so he could use his family's influence to get a new stadium built. It is not unpatriotic to be critical of a president's policies. It is our right with a tradition as old as the country itself. Plus, I can't wait until someone knocks that smirk off of his face. Do you want to know what I really think of the asshole? </rant> |
not hiding at all. and i decided that if i moved to another country i would be walking away from my civil duty to promote change.
this election has cemented my resolve. the country is in trouble. and i cannot flee and allow this great land to wither and die. |
