I'm so proud to be this little guy's father that I can hardly contain myself with each little step he takes while growing up. Tonight he showed me how much he likes to hollar and giggle when playing together.

It's ok so long as someone is nearby incase they start freaking out. it's actualy good for them at times to be on their bellies as it helps with passing gas and lets the body stretch out some. Also, always being on their backs can cause flat spots on the back of their heads.

Yup, he's right about tummy time-they need to get some time on their stomach to help them learn how to lift their heads and stuff, and as long as someone is watching them if they fall asleep, it is fine. You just shouldn't LEAVE them unattended on their tummies, and there isn't a much safer place than on Mommy's lap. :)

Cherish every moment. My son is turning 14 on the 20th, and it seems like only yesterday he was the size of your boy.

take what they tell you with a grain of salt. They use scare tactics just to scare you from doing it. many nurses and pediatricians actualy suggest to put them on their sides now so that they don't choke and die if they puke and to keep them on their bellies on your lap if they are sick so they don't choke on a chance that they puke.

oh I do, I cherish every moment, even when he's screaming at the top of his little lungs. I just sit with him and make fun of him and cry along with him mockingly haha. it's pretty fun

Great, congratulations, a lot of sick people have pictures of your son, which should be a private thing, at least for now since he's a newborn...It's not like your posting a pic to your family, unless you consider GFY you're family, and if you do, well sick..lol, sick

i wouldnt go posting pics of him when he's older, he's just 6 weeks old and his looks change daily.

Right now my wife is 3 and a half months. We can not wait to find out what it is, so for now it is an aliean.

I just set up his first mobile. He loves it! He just lies there and watches it go around and around. It's fun to watch his face light up as each little ball and froggie comes by his reach
