the documentary is about Mary Magdalena a girlfriend of Jezus , in this synopsis nothing is mentioned about this, but they do mention it in the documentary itself

This is true! I saw something on the Discovery channel about this. They created a bust of what Jesus would actually look like. He was very tan from being in the desert sun, dark hair, dark eyes and a VERY different shaped skull, nose etc.

I don't know who started portraying Jesus as a clean shaven white man with a beard (and sometimes blue eyes), but Jesus was Jewish, dark skinned and not even close to looking like what some people believe.

Just further proof that 1-) The Bible has been altered/translated and rewritten so many times, you cannot believe most of it. 2-) Organized religion is evil and brainwashes people. All these different versions of God and even Jesus... it's all made up and/or changed as we go along. I believe Jesus did exist. Son of God? I am really not sure. I can't prove he was or wasn't. considering the max life expectancy of the time was like 30-40 years old, 13 at that time was considered middle aged. Hell, until the early to mid 1900's a LOT of females were pregnant/married before they were even 15. As life expectancy got longer our need for having children in a hurry died down and wasn't as necessary as it was in the past

Watch a more recent movie (It comes with undertitle) called "Osama" the story about a 12 year old girl in Afganistan and it was filmed last year. Its an independent film from and Afgany film Maker. It was extremly interesting and should be watched by all Americans

You might want to study the times, 2000 years ago it was common for 12-15 yr old females to get pregnant as long as it was within wedlock. Also, the virgin birth and immaculate conception are at the very core of the Christian faith, without that the belief wouldn't exist.
