Bounced Check
 

If a company sends you a check and it bounces, then you have to pay the bank a fee for the bounced check... Shouldn't the company reimburse you for the bank fee sense it wasn't your fault?

If the check bounced do you really think they have the money to reimburse you. They will send a reimbursement check and that will probably bounce too.:2 cents:

I didn't get a new check, thow it was supposedly sent out a month ago. Didn't get a response when e-mailing about the bank fee reimbursement either. idk

I got a bounced check from BangBros too (as did a bunch of other people), never got the new one they claimed to have sent out. But I'm sure it will come some day.

I got ONE bounced check so far in this business and it changed my credit a lot ... fuckers. And worst thing is that it was for like 60 $

I'm canadian and now they freeze all uknown checks from US accounts

Back early 2003 i got a few checks from them, they cashed okay. I even kept one 51 bucks something it was the last one they sent as I stopped promoting them. I just kept it as a reminder of how quickley they grew after releasing bangbus.. Maybe i will frame this check. Could be worth a few beers down at the pub.

shit , what bank ? i'm at TDCanadatrust , i got one bounced check but never got the 24 days wait for US checks .


mind that it was only 35$ , the strange thing is that the company who sent the checks told me it has been debited while Canada trust don't know where the check went . i received the slip of the checque with stamps saying it bouced , the amount hasd been debited from my account , but never could figure out what really happened . as i'm not in canada i would spend more than 35$ on the phone to get tjhe matter cleared so i gave up.

Yes they should definitely cover any fees that you incur. Also, the correct check should come overnight, in my opinion.

I had one bounce with TD, was for over $1200.00 It didnt screw up my credit..wasnt my fault so they were good about it but I did have to pay the fee and never did see that $.

We actually got an email saying their system fucked up and that they were going to resend the checks out and take care of the fees. Suppossedly they sent the checks out that were way more then they were suppossed to be. I actually hadnt deposited the check yet, so i set it aside and the beginning of the next week, they sent the new check to us.

at bank of america.. if you deposit a check and it bounces.. then they only take the money back out of your account and charge you a $5 fee. and it doesn't ruin your credit unless your bank account went into the negative big time when they took the $$$ out and you never caught it back up from being negative.

Dude, you are posting for quarters, 24 hours a day... if a check bounces on YOU, it does not effect your credit at all.. and like it was stated earlier, there is a huge difference between Bounced and Stop Payment.

don't accept any more checks from them.. hell that's what the utility company does. Also, you can file the check with the district attorney's office if they don't pay. You don't have to wait any specific timeframe to do so. The DA will go after them for your portion of the check and if they don't pay up the DA will file criminal charges on them and haul them into court.
