Finally, my hometown (LUND, Sweden) is launching 1GB Internet connection for households!

We were first launching 10MB, first launching 100 MB, and now.. finally - first to launch 1GB to households .

Price? $100 a month.. ;) Not too bad, ist it?

Very true. But I rather be "prepared".. and when downloading music and streaming video I'll be happy to not sit on a 0.5 mbps line..

After all, it feels pretty good to say to your friends that u got a 1gbps line, even though u can not use it to the fullest..

I'm on 10Mb (not shared), and 99,99% of the servers I connect to, cant upload data that fast :)

Read the fine print to see if it doesn't have a transfer limit (like 100 GB per month).

You wont get anywhere near those speeds if you try to connect to a server outside the ISP network
