ideas for a great place to fly out to and completely chill out?

warm, tropical, stress-free. i just want to lie around on a beach, eat and drink for a week. no interest in exploring or doing anything else. just want to totally relax with a couple of friends/employees for about a week, as soon as i'm able to travel. the whole tab's going to be on me, so all-inclusive is cool ;)

any ideas/links? cheers.

i was thinking maybe Cuba or Jamaica. just want to find an easy, all-inclusive package i can bring half a dozen to ten people on.

food and drinks included would be preferable. as well as not having to leave the place for any reason until the flight out.

could be busy, but if ur a vip guest they will treat u like ur the only person on the island.

hm.... more secluded... check into a private island. there are 100s of them that can be rented. its an all inclusive thing, and u get what u pay for.

Grand Cayman, private beach on 7mile beach. It's gorgeous out there, although the last hurricane might have done a lot of damage. I'd personally like to go to Fiji myself. Let me know when you're all better, I'll be ready to go. Thanks for the all-inclusive offer :Graucho

hehe

Seriously, even if it's not for this occasion you're talking about, you need to go here sometime in your life

looks awesome, and i definitely want to travel in that region. but it doesn't look all-inclusive, and i won't be in any shape to be doing any exploring for this trip i'm currently planning.

great link though :)

If you are east coast (which I doubt) Aruba is pretty easy to get to, and about as chill as it gets. If you are looking for TONS to do and crazy nighlife, go somewere else though.

Shortbread 10-13-2004 01:33 AM

May I come? I have been dying for a vacation. ( I will pay for myself though)

No pics of Fiji since I haven't been there yet, but email me (gfy at wired2000 [dot] com) and I'll send you the pics I took in Cayman 2 years ago. I love the fact the private beaches are dead empty for miles and miles. It's like living on a private island.

hedonism iii in jamaica was very relaxing. outside the resort sucked, but thats jamaica...

Dawgy 10-13-2004 01:46 AM

u should check out the Aman resorts. i have a couple of friends who quite literally wont stay anywhere else.

http://www.amanresorts.com/

Amanpuri is supposedly the ultimate in relaxation. DiCaprio stayed there while filming The Beach... its all inclusive, and u get anything you want. literally.

Anguilla!

Beaches: 33 of the best in the world! Stunningly white, powder soft sands meet gentle seas of pristine waters colored in vibrant and varied hues of turquoise.

Dining: Unmatched in the Caribbean ? more gourmet choices here per acre than New York City.

Fishing: Wahoo, Marlin, Tuna, Swordfish, Yellow fin and Black fin Tuna are just some of the game fish found off the shores of Anguilla.

Oh, and its a Tax-haven! :banana
