Who can explain the problem with Israel to me?
 

I like to think I'm up on current events, but the entire situation with Israel is something I haven't really given too much thought to.

From what I can gather..... The country of Israel was formed after WWII, a direct result of what the Nazis tried to do to the Jewish race. Seems to be the location picked for this future country is the location of the most Holy sites in the world, be it Jewish, Muslilm, or Christian - and the Muslim countries are pretty pissed off about it.

Anyone care to shed any light on this for me?

A lot wiser men than you or I are confused by the whole situation. But until the US stops backing them they will be creating mayhem and the Palestinians will be fighting and there will be no solution to World Terrorism.

The jewish people were exciled from this land before Christ by Roman emperor Titus. This is why this land was "chosen".
because this land was the home land of the jewish people. It wasn't just picked randomly.

The holocaust was one reason why it was decided that the Jewish people deserve their own land, but not the only. There are more reasons why the jewish people had rights on this land, one of which is a historical right.

Look how the Europeans came here and slaughtered the American Indians and this eventually became the United States after we got rid of Spanish, Mexican, French and English control of our country. I will answer this thread in a nutshell. Israel is surrounded by Arabs. Arabs hate the jews. In fact, everyone hates the jews. So you take the mentality of the Arabs and then you take the people in Israel and you have water and oil. They do not mix and their will NEVER be piece in the middle east.

btw, about the Kassam rockets, they shoot them from within "civilians" homes, which gives the army no choice but to destroy these homes. Of course then they say that the IDF are terorrists...

Actually from what I've studied, there were Africans here first and then the Indians came from tribes when there was a land bridge to the Asian areas and took control. The Asians mixed with tribes from South America which is why you can see a bit of that combo look in them today.

Really... this will be interesting to research, because for what I've heard and read the ones that were here first were the Paleo-Indians of North America (cavemen of the americans) although there is no way of knowing how many individuals trekked into North America over the course of time... but for the past century or so it has been commonly accepted as fact that the earliest inhabitants of North America migrated here from Asia via the Bering Land Bridge once connecting, or closely connecting, Asia and North America... would you be able to indetify what african tribes were those that occupied the territories of the Americas' before the Asians or Paleo-Indians took over (according to you)?

In my view Israel in my view is a little bit of the west that was purposely put in the Middle East.

The history of trouble in the region makes horrible reading. I really feel for all folks that live in that part of the world is must be really stressful seeing your kids off to school hoping they are gonna make it home.

Theres no easy fix, the Brits, Yanks and god knows who else have tried to sort out the issues but nothin has moved forward.

My interests are in WWII, Nazi Germany, Japan, and all of the events surrounding WWII. I think I've read every book about WWII.

I am starting to learn about the problem with Israel. While reading this post I'm also reading about it on line, and I'm sure later today I'll end up at the book store.
