I Just Watched The Movie, "Super Size Me!" And HOLY SHIT!!!!

I don't think I'll ever eat fastfood again!!! I am not out of shape and I feel that I'm in peak health and condition for my age at 6'0 205lbs, but after watching that movie, I feel totally different about what's going on in my guts!!!

Living in a fast-paced world I have to settle with anything that I can get sometimes. I eat fastfood at least 4 times a week, sometimes 5. I never realized how bad it effected not only my body but my mental well being! Man, that movie struck so many chords with me that I honestly think I had an epiphany tonight!

Seriously watch that movie. It really does have a profound effect on what you perceive as normal life in the U.S.!

Supersize this, Micky Dees!!!! :321GFY

go to your local bakery, buy six or twelve eight or 12 inch hoagie buns. go to the good ol fuck my pussy now pls organic section, pick up several heads of romaine lettuce or spinach, go get some non sweet mustard a pint of flax oil and veganaise.

throw a quarter tsp of flax oil on the hoagie bun, mustard, veganaise, and greens. shit is good as flying fuck

fresh spelt breads are better, but non existent in america

shit also tastes good as fuck and

a.) You're not feeding on a carcass
b.) theres no preservatives or artificial flavors.
c.) You are doing the right thing
d.) supporting organic farmers
e.) supporting rewarding existence
f.) practicing respect
g.) no eggs or dairy

You ate fast food 4-5 times a week...damn that's way too much.

After watching the movie, I actually felt sick when I saw any McDonalds commercials.

What shocked me the most was what schools were feeding kids these days...no wonder the U.S is the fatest nation on earth.

neewwman 09-29-2004 11:18 PM

I've got toddlers and we have checked out two preschools. Both have contracts with Carls Jr. to provide the hot lunches. Good god.

You have a BMI of 27.8.

If you fall between 25 and 30, you are Overweight.

Lensman 09-30-2004 12:55 AM

I watched it the other nite, the most disturbing thing are the school lunches.

rebel23 09-30-2004 03:19 AM

FYI, Mcdonalds and the industry recommend one should only eat their products (meals) max 3-4 times a week, the guy in Supersize me ate it 3 times a day for a month against all advice & logic so its no surprise what happened to him...

yes the effects of 'fast food' can be harmful in large quantities, but you should eat it (if at all) in moderation and as part of a balanced diet, then you'll be alright !

kmanrox 09-30-2004 03:21 AM

im hungry now

Yep, I'm grossly obese becaues my BMI says so! :helpme

What they are feeding our children now is absolutely horrible!!! Something needs to be done to stop this! To many people getting their pockets lined by the fast food companies.

Just wanted to say there's plenty of fresh spelt breads in my last two domiciles - SoCal and Portland Metro. Sure, you gotta go to the health food stores (Mothers, Natures, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, etc.) but they definitely exist.
