There was tons of trannies downthere .. or girlboys - or what the fuck they call'em ... kinda strange actually, it seems like it's perfectly normal and accepted to be a total gay girl-looking boy downthere..

Have to get back to you on that one when the wife is home, I don't remember where that cave was :) But I do remember that there was a lying Budda in the cave .. a big statue .. and outside of the cave there was tons of wild monkeys (as the one in the top picture)

One of the sad things about those Budist are that they refuse to kill anything living .. so there is alot of streetdogs in VERY bad shape down there..

How did you find the food experience? I love Thai restaurants in the US, though I gather the cuisine varies more there, between the different regions of Thailand. Anyway, good eats?

We didn't go very fare away from Hua Hin where our hotel was .. there was plenty of stuff there to fill the 14 days with great cultural entertainment...

But my wife and I talked about just buying the planetickets the next time and travel around on our own ... I can't imagine a country where that would be easier and cheaper than in Thailand .. we hired a cap with driver for 5-7 hours (he drove us where we wanted and waited for us at the car) for like $30 .. yeah, insane..

Well.. I ate alot of peber&garlic grilled lobsters, gotta love that shit :) .. but besides that I must admit that I don't like lots of the thai food... and most of it is too spicy for the comon white man anyway :)

nothing beats home cooking in Thailand. Once you've had it there, you'll never find anything that compares unless u marry a Thai.:thumbsup

travel on your own is much cheaper.. even the hotel room..

did you go to phuket, pattaya, chiang mai, bangkok or something else? tell your adventures :D

i went on jungle tour.. and that kinda stuff.. all you saw was monkies.. or ?

btw.. taxies became higher then.. about a year agow i paid like 500 bath for 1 full day ( in chiang mai ) and 400 bath in bangkokg..

We visited some monkies at two different locations.. we did some elephant-trekking (pain the ass actually, the comfort on an elephant sucks bigtime :)) .. we did a full day of fishing from a boat with some local guys - very cool experience - lot's of strange fish
