Beat Street (1984)
Howard The Duck (1986)
A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984)

there's alot more.. but these stuck out in my head alot...

i saw both ET and Back to the Future a month ahead of their releases, both rough working prints, different music, no credits - both movies I was blown away by - when I saw ET there had been almost nothing released to the press about it, had no idea what it was.
