Seriously though, I live in NJ. Which is the anal rapeage of insurance states. I have been with USAA for a few years now, Geico came into NJ on the first of the month. So i'm thinking this is going to be great, everyone says how cheap they are. My quote from them was $20 per year cheaper. wtf????

I have a commercial truck insured in Delaware, and Geico would not do commercial there, so USAA won out. They were $200 dollars less per month than Progressive. I later found out that Progressive does all of their commercial insurance through USAA.

My experience is that Geico is great if you have a perfect driving record, but as soon as you have an accident or ticket they jack up the rate so high it forces you to go elsewhere.

I recently switched to allstate for that reason.
