It takes money to make money?
I will be receiving an inheritance of $150,000 CAD = $115,000 USD
Would it be possible to double my money in 6 months and if so what are some smart investments? Any serious input is greatly appreciated. |
You know the little plstic things they put in the middle of pizzas to keep the box from touching the toppings? I can get you a great deal on 100 million of those for 150K CDN.
Let me know dude. You can resell them to all the pizza joints in your area. You'll make a fortune! |

I'd put it into real estate. Stock market is too risky. You could always become an adult sponsor. |

I done one deal last year which returned a 10 fold (conservative figure) increase in assets.. first one I ever did that earned that kinda money! Got another one much the same to do when I got time - there is a lot more to be earned out of the first one yet! :-) Ya have to "stand back" and "break out" of all "conventional" stuff - there is little high return in that. |

In that stage of discussion there are no smart investments. There are investments that bring profit and investments that bring loss. Almost every guy that made an investment that brought loss had in mind he was putting his money in a smart investment :-)

It takes more than $150K but there are ways - and opportunities. |

Any investment that can double within 6 months is going to be extremely risky. Do yourself a favor and don't do anything stupid. Speak to people you know personally and trust.
Buying flat rate advice from a financial planner can be a good idea. Just question everything and assume that everyone's trying to fuck you. Get a referral from someone you trust. |

There are other areas... all over the world, where you can double money. It's a matter of learning - that "education" shit never stops :-) Tho ask a "real world" lawyer and he will not have one fucking clue:-) Hell.. this is pointless :-) I'd like to "share", but would give too much away! :winkwink: |

I can't give "details" - it is worth more "as is". Just have a hard look at real estate - don't be confined to your home country. Then screw all the websites offering this and go there and get into the heart of real estate - there is a lot of money around!! :-) |

Not without development it won't. Domains with longstanding ppc revenue go for up-to 36x monthly revenue + Coherent/generic domain value. Not 10x revenue, because subtract the actual value of the domain from it's revenue, and you're looking at the person only getting 3x monthly revenue. Blah won't even explain it. Good luck with your domain acquisitions. :thumbsup |

I knew absolutely nothing about real estate just over one year ago - not one clue! I was looking for some land, but had no clue as to what I really wanted. By digging around and evaluating "prospects" of stuff, I came across a lump of land - just under 1000 acres. I was dealing direct with the vendors. On either side of this property, the land (same damned stuff) was being sold for $90k - $120k/hectare. The location was all "ocean view" land and the surroundings are a "paradise". I bought the lot damned cheap in the end - in fact the survey/legals/plotting/zoning came to more than the land cost. Even if nothing is done on the land - the increase in value is, very conseratively, 10 fold. In the background, I built up a "team" - lawyer (not a shit one!*g*) and a load of "experts" (cos I knew nothing - still don't!) and contacted "people that matter" in international orgs. I now have a scenario in place for land development and all finance that involves many millions. It is just a matter of looking... if you don't have enough capital, get some friends involved. If the deal is good and secure - the world wants to be involved :-) Be "particular" about who is being involved tho - you can be "fussy" on a good deal :-) I still don't pretend to know damned all about real estate and the implications - it's just a matter of judgement, common sense and listening to "experts". |

There ARE land deals out there - tho they may not be in places where there is an "awareness" of land values. I "evaluated" the plot I bought damned hard and took into account stuff like water sources, surrounding area and the prospective development prospects, not only on the land, but by folks in the surrounding area. Any development they do, does affect your land area - usually upwards :-) A bank recently valued a neighbor plot at $30/sq meter - hell, if I were to rely on that, I'd be a millionaire a few times over! By sheer luck more than anything, it turns out there are at least 16 "wells" producing mineral water - I'm told that supposed to be a viable commercial proposition on it's own, but who knows :-) Give ya a clue on the "break out of the mould" stuff - There is another patch of land.. around 350 hectares. This is coastline property and has at least one kilometer of beach and there is also planning permission for a marina. The vendor is asking $9m for this. The fact is that one hectare lot on the beach in that area sells for .. between 1million and 1.4mill. You just have to move a few of them and the total cost is recovered and you have all the rest as "profit" and future profit potential :-) I have no time to do this project - it could last for years, tho there is plenty money in it. You get the idea?? :-) |

If you don't know where to invest it. Wait. Stand back, and look at "the big picture". There is no sutch thing as an easy proffit. KNOW what you're doing. A 100% return with no risk is doable, if you know what you're doing.

You should think long term not short term.
Most people who achieve financial freedom have 1 or more recurring incomes. I know people who flip real estate for a living because they get a high when they make quick money but the fact is that if they stop working for a few months they will have no cash. I would avoid the stock market, private investments, and adult not because those industries don?t make money its just because the chances of making money are slim, very few make it. Good luck |
