Vegas 2005 Players Ball - Lock in a sponsorship now
January 6th, Vegas.
The Players Ball has 6 years of throwing the biggest webmaster event year after year. Raising sponsorships makes these parties happen. The money raised from these sponsors helps pay for the big name talent and production costs for this event. Right now, I can lock in either 1 main sponsor, or 3. Depends on the amount they'd like to spend. Then we'll have the next level sponsorships which will still get massive exposure. That will be much less money. Then, if you can't afford to be a bigger sponsor, we also have smaller packages available which will get you passes and private tables. Basically, we can custom make a package that will provide you with exposure and party perks. We're about to swing into heavy promotion leading up to this event. In the past, we've proved that we deliver what we say we'll deliver. I said we'd have Snoop Dogg perform a full concert, we did. Our talents include Snoop, Xzibit, Slick Rick, Doug E Fresh, Naughty By Nature, Too Short, Digital Underground, Original P (P-Funk members), Third World, Kid Capri, DJ Green Lantern, DJ Sasha, Ice-T and many others I can't even name off the top of my head. Point being, we always have a big artist, that's guaranteed. Last year was a huge success for us. Sponsors had their private tables, private rooms, VIP really was VIP and it wasn't crowded and everyone got in smoothly. 2005 has a bunch of potential huge artists in the running. Snoop Dogg (maybe with 213), Cypress Hill, LL Cool J, Ludacris and Busta Rhymes are all in the running. Once I get a better feel for sponsorships raised, then we lock in the artist. Snoop wants to do it again and is holding the date for us. I'll take a deposit now to lock it in and you can get months of exposure instead of waiting until the final weeks leading up to the event. if you can't afford a deposit yet, give me a verbal and set a date to make a deposit. This gives me the ballpark figure of what I can raise so we can afford the best performers and venue. January will be pimp and ho again, dress the role. If you can't dress the role, we can still get you in the party, you'll just look lame. Hit me up at darren at marketingfirm .com if you're interested in locking in these spots before they sell out. I do set a limit to the main sponsors then no more will be added. Anyway, thanks for the support for the last 6 years and 12 Players Balls. Don't be a fool, lock it in and get months of exposure. We promote this event all year. The D$ Show will be airing live shows again and we fully expect to have the sponsors promoting their services when we go live again within the next week or so. |

And, as of now, I think we will have $100 sponsors, but probably in a limited capacity. People spending $5k and more will have the passes to issue out. The return of the Players Ball. And the return of the Big Woody Awards. |
Get Fannypack to play, them chicks would be hot for a Player's Ball

They look hot, but we'll have a ton of pornstars to look hot as well. And I sure don't want to hear pornstars sing. Are they any good? |
I will sponsor if you can promise it will be the same acts, again. For the 7th time.

D-Money could you please send me a pricing package for this event whenever you have it prepared.
[email protected] We loved your last events and would be interested in doing something with you :) Thanks, DH |

yea actually they're not bad, they're on Tommy Boy records. Chicks from Brooklyn with attitudes, kinda like a nasty JJ Fadd. My friend is their DJ |
Eric B and Rakim for some old school :)
Grandmaster flash Big Daddy kane Ice Cube. PE -> would be off the hook. |
I'm glad you're doing this again, this past January I had a great time. I was under the impression you wanted no further involvement with Internext?

I'll be emailing you in the next week or so. And for the haters who think we repeat artists everytime. We have 3 to 4 artists every show, so if we have a house artist like Digital Underground or Too Short, we still have another artist or 2 we haven't had. Hey, how many other parties can deliver 3 to 4 legends perform in a night? That's what I thought.... |
You should hire out Satan's Cheerleaders
http://www.satanscheerleaders.com/ They are more interesting than pornstars anyways ;-) http://www.satanscheerleaders.com/girls/trailer01.jpg |
I am helping to throw a party for P Diddy in Vegas Labor Day weekend and Grandmaster Flash is DJing
I can not fucking wait!!!! Outkast is coming along with every rapper from Def Jam.... |
:thumbsup
We'd love to be a sponsor again but unfortunately I'm not sure yet if I can make it to Vegas. Just started a new company... have a lot of projects in the works... and in December my girlfriend will move here from Japan... I will hit you up later this year when I know more :) |

I still don't want to be involved with Internext. But the truth of the matter is, that's when I throw this event, our industry of people are in town, so the show must go on. But it won't be an Internext event, it's an adult industry event. The sponsors get the passes, they give it to their people. No Internext necessary. |

Yeaaah sonn!
Darren, is there an age limit on the players ball? |

They might get a heart attack... |
Quote:
No I meant 18 or 21+? |
Quote:
Assume that any venue in Vegas is 21 and over. Last year, we held the Ball at Prana Lounge which is also a restaurant, which means it could be possible since it's also a restaurant. 90% sure it's 21 and over no matter where we go. But I'll be sure to find out as one of the first deal points in locking the venue. |

i mean I love the artists that do live performances and all, but to me, the dj brings as much to the table and can create the vibe of the event.... |

Our DJ's so far include: DJ Sasha DJ George Acosta DJ Green Lantern (also Eminems DJ) DJ Jam (also Snoops DJ) DJ Evan (Also owns XPays) We almost did QBert at last years event. Was between him, Green Lantern and DJ Red Alert. I went with Lantern since he was the hottest at the time. I'll call Shock G and get QBert's number. |

I'm going to custom make packages. The big sponsors will pay the most, probably too much for most peoples budget. The next size sponsorship will be at $5k each. That will at least get your name on the passes (backside of the pass) and a banner on the site and newsletter. If someone wants to only spend $1k, I'll have a package based on tickets and possible table seating. Once I know which venue. But I'll make if affordable and package in live D$ Show promotion with it. |
get dead prez to play

D-
Co-DJ idea- DJApollo of the triple threat dj's (formerly of the invisible scratch pickles with qbert and mixmaster mike) is an XThreadz sponsored dj here in s.f. and I recommend him. Come up and any weekend and you can hear him go nuts. While we are at dj dream team planning- if you could re-unite the mixmaster mike, qbert and apollo- that would be tops. x-ecutioners are top notch as well. Qbert and Apollo are good friends here so maybe you could do a special set with the 2 of them. For headliners please do Cypress Hill. You could have an all bay area night- digital, too short, qbert/apollo, and cypress. Travel costs would be lower too since they are all southwest airlinesable. :thumbsup P.S. Paycom up on HotelHeiress Billing today |
