I get cc signups to my sponsors on that site so I don't see how a good site wouldn't convert....

I downloaded the shaven-ferret script months ago right about the same time shaven-ferret blocked all their pages (not authorized). You have to activate the script through the site, so it's useless.

I agree. I'm submitting to the 5 I found and the traffic is very good.

Those 5 still are capable of sending around 5k if ya submit daily

If I can do good off em they must be doing good themselves.

I stopped submitting to RR when he changed his rules to no url/watermark on the pics. I guess this was to limit all the free content that was submitted. But there's no way I'm submitting my exclusive content w/out my url on them...

is anyone else always getting accepted by RR, but never gets a lot of traffic?

Actually, I wasn't really interested in it for traffic (however any would have been welcome:glugglug), I wanted to use it for interactivity for a theme site. I planned on letting users post pics, I would post some with my banners, and if other webmasters wanted to post in the theme they would have been welcome.

If I ever get back to working on that site a dream script would be one that would let me and other webmasters post pics and banners and if a user posted a pic without a banner one of mine would automatically be inserted.

And RR is still doing pretty decent for me.

But then again I own a lot of OLD content from the time watermarking wasn't common.

You know what would be cool, a moviepost. An embedded movie is played instead of a static image being displayed.

Interesting concept, i wonder how much traffic it has and what's the CTR on the pic pages --- it is trading with real thumb tgp's though.

What it trades with isn't really that important.

Traffic starts behaving depending on what site it hits.

Send CJ traffic to a linklist and they will become just like traffic you receive from other linklists for example.

I tested that to great lengths and can say there is no bad traffic just bad delivery methods. ;)

So can you explain why TGP2 is almost dead? :)

It's my site. I trade with thumb TGPs because there's plenty of them and they match the look of mine. Outgoing trade traffic is toplist only so it's high qual stuff. It's an attempt at doing "quality rather than quantity" :)

Sure to many know it alls trying the my way or the highway approach imposing to many rules upon the concept.

There are TONS of forums out there. The topic in this thread is PIC POSTS there is a big difference.

well a friend of mine owns a "forum" but all they do is post pics in the forum. not the average forum where they post galleries. this is just picture posting has over 30,000 members so the pics get displayed in each msg. dont know if thats what you are looking for

Forums that post (*cough* hotlink *cough*) pics are set up for communication, not sales. :)

no now that kind of forum, this one is where they upload to the server :) not the evil hotlinknig ones that those evil foreigners run belive me videodump has that problem i see them in my refers all the time weird ass countries trying to hotlink my stuff

What I am looking for are the regular Picposts that came before TGP's went big.

I'm quite sure that most have ceased to exist or turned TGP but I found 5 working still.

They do well so I am looking for ones I might have missed to add to the list :)

This was more of a mainstream blog type site where people would be submitting shots they took themselves. Porn pics would have been in most cases off-topic and submitting "content" for traffic as is the case in porn pic-posts wouldn't have been approved.

The webmasters I was referring to posting would have been bloggers themselves or run a similar topic site wanting traffic to their own.

picpost traffic was totally golden if you knew how to play it...

the reason it's good is the person is looking at the pic and WHAM, there's the advertisement....

that's when TGP traffic started slipping in quality, when they stopped allowing pics on html pages...I personally saw my TGP income drop by a good 30-40%...

are there any TGP's that will let me submit galleries with pics on an html page?

I'm looking for special treatment here as I know if you allow that, the cheaters will flock to it like a fly on shit...

I want a partner account where I can submit 15-20 hi-quality pic galleries, with the big pics on html pages and a text link under the big picture.

Anyone up for this? I will play it fair and straight and by all means if I redirect even a single page, you can come here and blast me for the world to see...
