John Kerry: "Life begins at conception, but I support abortion."
This is as dumb as Lincoln saying "I believe blacks are equal, but I still support slavery".
|
He likes to cover both sides, get used to it :)
|
he believes women can do what they want with their pussy. thats good for our business. drop the issue.

Umm no its not the same thing....

You are putting words in his mouth, starting to sound like Michael Moore.... he never said just because life begins at conception that it deserves rights. I'll get the vaccuum cleaner, spead your legs babe |

Next, Kerry would say
"I support military action to rid Saddam and to search for WMDs, but I'm opposed to the war" |

Abortion takes a life and therefore is murder. |
Vote for bush and find another job that simple

I was kind of annoyed by his seemingly contradictory statements on abortion, but really -- it IS a complex issue. Part of our political problems stem from trying to make every issue black and white, right or wrong, when with something like abortion -- there are varying shades of grey.
One CAN feel abortion is wrong, but intellectualize that it's too complicated to force that opinion on other people. Acknowledging that life begins at conception doesn't mean abortion is "murder" -- plants are alive, but we don't call it "murder" when we eat a salad. There are many people who would never get an abortion themselves but know it's wrong to take that choice away from other people. It might be refreshing for a lot of people to hear Kerry have a seemingly "conflicting" opinion, similar to their own. |

Life does not begin....
...the sperm is alive, the ovum is alive..... Learn some biology people! |
There is such a thing as believing that something is wrong, but not believing that the government should make it illegal.
|
Your quote is not accurate. Kerry does not "support abortion" - he supports freedom for people to disagree and freedom for women to make their own choices about when abortion is appropriate.
He is pro-choice but he personally does not agree with abortion. Isn't this exactly how Libertaians say government should be? Just because Kerry has a personal belief about a complex issue does not mean he will try to make that the law. Do you want a president who enforces his personal beliefs on you? Kerry supports personal freedom. If you don't like it, support Bush. :1orglaugh |

No matter what u think about abortion, Govt has no right to stick its nose on what u should do with your body. They should stick to fixing healtcare and Iraq
|
Yeah this is simple, but people who want to, will find flaws in anything :)
I also believe that life begins when the egg has enough information to divide. Thats life for you. However, it's my position that a woman should decide if she wants to carry a baby full term. Oh look! Is that a flip flop? Hardly. lol :1orglaugh |

sluts will always be sluts and theres nothing you can do to change that. They should have used a condom but didnt or maybe it was just an accident. Either way if they don't want to have a baby then they probably wouldn't make good mothers. Maybe thats why we see so many problems with kids these days.

get real,
Kerry, Clinton, and most of the democrats, are secularists ... but in order to get elected in this country you have to fake faith and pretend to see the logic in religious arguements. However, once in office, they try to move us as far ahead of the chistrian agenda as they can get away with. So, "don't hate the playa, hate the game". |

i was gonna start a thread about this subject last week; he was on a some news program but i didnt have a link or remember what program so i didnt post about it but...
Kerry said that "a baby at one month conception is not a baby yet." that pissed me off! |

just a fact. democrats are overwhelmingly pro choice but the pro choice crowd only represents 1/2 the voters. |
