is under 18 NN legal?

Is it legal for girls under 18 to do NN? It would seem so since lots of girls under 18 model. If anyone knows the guidelines of this that could help me out, i'd appreciate it!

ytcracker 07-31-2004 10:01 AM

people are going to scream pedo in this thread fairly fast

BVF 07-31-2004 10:03 AM

it's not worth it. Do you want to walk outside having to look over your shoulder all of the time?

If you're a pornographer, you shouldn't even be pointing a camera at a girl that is under 18 for any business purpose.

Pedo !

ImLost 07-31-2004 10:10 AM

yes its legal

CJswe 07-31-2004 10:11 AM

How would one even consider a thing like that?

Goatse 07-31-2004 10:12 AM

It's legal as long as the pictures are not of a sexual nature and the focus is not on the crotch/ass/tits. It's a very fine line that is subject interpretation. All it takes is a zealous DA...

Thanks for the answer unlike most fucking idiots on here can do. But...Yeah, i wasnt trying to do anything sexual like most NN sites the people on here are used to. Something along the lines of CourtneyDay.com. I am signing this girl up for a lot of events to model for companies and was thinking of building her just a normal model portfolio site that had a members only section. Nothing sexual in any way.

And you don't consider that site kiddy?
So if I had a 12 year old to flaunt her stuff you would go for it?
Despite thongs and bras skin can still be perceived as indecent. And no I'm not republican. So I would definitely stay away from that if I were you, if not I could easily gather at least 20 ppl who would gladly accuse you of cp.

CheeseFrog 07-31-2004 10:43 AM

I'm surprised nobody has been busted for CP for any of the Olsen twins pics.

Doctor Dre 07-31-2004 10:47 AM

There used to be a lot of 18 - non nude website . But nowdays, visa dosen't process them anymore ...

beemk 07-31-2004 11:05 AM

i can say i dont have much morals, but im still against under 18 nn sites. anyone shooting young girls with the intentions of providing the pics for guys to jerk off to is just as bad as CP.

M_M 07-31-2004 11:29 AM

Why shouldn't 18- girls be allowed to do modeling?

This has been done offline for ages. Fashion shows, magazines, newspapers. Do you blame them for pedo catering too?? What's so different about the web as a medium that makes it NOT OK to do same thing?

CP = child PORN

Did Olsen Twins ever do porn modeling?

Idiot.

DBW 07-31-2004 11:57 AM

It depends on what they are modeling. There are models under 18 modeling a number of things.Check the jcpenney catalog, sears, etc.

Who is paying $20 a month for access to those sites? It certainly is not modeling agencies

xclusive 07-31-2004 08:00 PM

What I don't understand is how parents can let their kids do that kind of shit. I mean, yeah, letting your kid model some jeans in a Sears catalog is one thing, but letting them be photographed in a thong for the internet is just fucked up. :2 cents:

Living For Today 07-31-2004 08:17 PM

Stay away. It's not worth the time and effort. Do 18+ and you KNOW you have no worries :)

There is a BIG difference and I don't believe that you are so naive that you don't see it !

A girl modeling for a magazine in some beautiful dress is MUCH different from a girl spreading her legs with just panties and bra and some webmaster charging 19.95$ a month for this. Come on, who pays a monthly membership for a site like this if he doesn't want to wank off on the pics ? It's the same shit like those "nudist" magazines with underage girls. It's sick, it's wrong and everybody making money this way is as sick as those pedo assholes.

God, I agree with you on this.

While it isn't illegal and such, to ME, anyone promoting them to porn surfers is probably one of the worst things I have ever seen. I just went thru this with some assclown last night on here, he thought it was totally legal to have girls as young as 8 being promoted on porn sites... and his only excuse was that "it is legal". Well, you know what? It might be "legal" but it's one of the most immoral things I have ever seen.

If they are modeling clothing for a clothing store, this is all fine, and I am happy they are doing it, but to promote them to porn people is only asking for trouble and I won't have anyone promoting my program that even has a link to a link to this on their sites. Makes me sick and I wouldn't promote it for no amount of money. Kids and porn should NEVER be hand in hand, no matter if the shit is "legal" or not.

iwantchixx 07-31-2004 08:27 PM

is it legal? yes
is it right? You decide.

BigFurry 08-01-2004 09:54 AM

Some people are such hypocrites in here. Why is a 17y old NN site gross, or disgraceful? Do you turn your heads the other way, if you see a younger girl on the streets in provocative clothes?

Indeed, it's a sensitive topic. But you also should consider, the 18 is just an average age, which your country decided about. It should be respected too. But keep in mind, it's different in many countries too, can be higher or lower. There are 15 year olds as mature as some other at 20, and the other way around too.
And most of all, is it gross if a 16y old girl has sex with his boyfriend?

Don't misunderstand me, I'm completely against children porn, but some people are getting too paranoid here. Respect the laws, but don't be a square!
