I think in this day and age people just don't want any problems. The world is a shithole. If you sit back and do nothing, then it lets enemies get strong and problems build up. If you take action, it leads to problems and people complain that action shouldnt be taken.

Therefore, it is legitimate that the US will do whatever it takes in order to free a people from the hands of an evil leader who commited crimes against them. All in order to give the people the ability to enjoy the basic human right for freedom.
