How fast is your CPU
 
Just wondering how my old 2 year old CPU compares to everybodies. I got an 1800+ XP at 1.53Ghz

3.0 Ghz, P4 HT, 2 Gigs of Ram, 2 250 Gig Hard Drives and a 256 Mg Video Card... Dont know what else at this hour. Super happy and running XP Pro.. But I just upgraded a month ago or so from a P2 350 with 256 Ram with a crap load of junk in it. Sure is nice to start fresh.

my desktop is a P4 1.6 GHz with a 200 GB HD and 256 MB of RAM.

my laptop is a P$ 2.4 GHz with a 40 GB HD and 384 MB of RAM.

whoa 14" CGA monitor. I didnt think those existed. I though the largest CGA was about 12"

My first one was a TI99 from Texas Instruments.. used a standard casette recorder for data storage and a telivision for a monitor. :glugglug

Yep... I used to run manufacturing (CAM) software on a 486 DX4/100mhz with 32 mb ram.

In DOS, it was plenty fast, and booted quicker than anything I have now.

my main is a Athlon XP 2800+ @ 2.08Ghz, but I also have a P4 @2.0Ghz, 2 Athlon XP 2600's @1.8Ghz, an Athlon XP 2200+ @1.4ghz and a p3 800Mhz.
