So they finally admitted they fucked up

Why arent there any threads about this?

The congress said that voting in favour of the war was wrong and that happened because the cia gave them false information.

In other words "we fucked up and this war is a mistake"

Hello you pro war idiots, even your government is slowly waking up, when are you?

What more do you need? A final word from Bush? You need to hear Bush saying it was a mistake before you get the clue?

freeadultcontent 07-09-2004 07:09 PM

maybe saddams lawyers will use this info. Would be very fuckered eh if they suddenly say opps the country is indeed yours.

jscott 07-09-2004 07:10 PM

:Oh crap (name of that smiley = oh crap)

NoCarrier 07-09-2004 07:10 PM

The righties will find a way to say that Saddam was still a threat, don't worry.

Dirty F 07-09-2004 07:15 PM

Slightly off topic yet also on topic:

Just saw a short clip of an interview with one of Osama's brothers, living somewhere in Europe. He told the interviewer he wasnt even asked by the Americans if he knew the whereabouts of osama.

Unbelievable. Guess they were too busy preparing for Iraq.

Saddam's lawyers have already said they plan to use the just war defense in his trial.

Elli 07-09-2004 07:20 PM

Maybe they're realizing they have to come out against the war in order to win the next election. It's like watching an aircraft carrier trying to do a 180.

jukeboxfrank 07-09-2004 07:36 PM

I think someone has to go into that part of the world.
That small 6 day war has now lasted over 35 yrs and its getting worse each day. They will not stop frighting by themselves ,so like it or not, Saddam a treat or not How else will there ever to be peace in the middle east if someone does not try something.
I am all ears........

I really don't think they were trying to create peace in the middle east by unseating a controlling dictator.

Put a big wall around it or a dome over it. Hand it over to a network they do the superbowl, and set up lots and lots of cams. Then none of us would really care now would we? :winkwink:

Havent you learned anything yet?

Janets titt is major news, britney and madonna kissing is major news. Facts about politics and mess ups in our government (cough enron still biggest contributor to bush campaign) is just for news tickers and you already know we do not read.

rambler 07-09-2004 08:20 PM

I think the Bush admin is using the excuse of being given false info by the CIA and other gov. agencies .

Now all the right-wing idiots will say it wasn't Bush and co. fault but the CIA's fault and Bush had no other option but to trust the CIA reports.:2 cents:

Janet's Tit 07-09-2004 08:21 PM

I deserve to be major news shitballs.

Yup, and the fact that he told them to find (read force) links to Sadam right away after 911 might be slightly overlooked.

X37375787 07-09-2004 08:24 PM

I like it how GWB's past military information all misteriously disappeared, too. The fuck probably sneaked his way out of 'Nam, and they destroyed it in order to cover it up. :BangBang:

SykkBoy 07-09-2004 08:29 PM

They had to find someone to blame it on...may as well have been the CIA because no one trusts them anyways...

digifan 07-09-2004 08:34 PM

They blame the CIA now...

The point of going to war in Iraq is to set up military bases in the there so that the US can carry out operations from ground bases in future conflicts rather than have to send the 7th fleet over every time there's a shitstorm. Notice how only the administrators have left and there's no reduction of military forces? And how they're talking about re-instituting the draft? It's Wolfowitz's plan for Middle East stability.

Shaze 07-09-2004 08:45 PM

another reason to NOT vote for Bush!

i think it was about getting our hands on the oil more than setting up military bases

Dirty F 07-09-2004 08:46 PM

So far not one pro war person has posted. I guess theyre running out of excuses.

rambler 07-09-2004 08:47 PM

Yah what a fucking pathetic joke; "Bush is concerned and wants to make the agencies better"

I can't believe there are so many people with thier heads so far up thier fucking asses.(Bush is still fairly even in polls with Kerry)

It just goes to show how ignorant the right-wing really is.

sid375 07-09-2004 08:49 PM

Part and parcel. Can't get the oil without stability.

There has been more than one thread about this subject before you started this thread. Here is one of them.

Battus you don't get it do you.

Read my lips. The war was the cover.

The United States is beginning the democratization of the middle east, establishing an enormous CIA/NSA operations center and listening post smack in the middle of all the Islamic extremist countries, establishing firm control over the 2nd largest oil reserves in the world, and generating enormous war revenues for the US economy.

:thumbsup

Are they already done with the real job? I mean the one regarding exploitation of recources etc..
