Osama's European truce ends in 13 days. Some of the jihadists sound ready to go.

Al Qaeda leader bin Laden, in an audiotape on April 15, extended a truce to Europeans if they withdrew troops from Muslim nations. He said the offer not to attack Europe would last three months.

Several European states have rejected the truce offer

An al Qaeda-linked group vowed to renew attacks on Europe and urged Muslims to flee once Osama bin Laden 's three-month truce ends on July 15, two Arabic-language newspapers reported on Friday.

"To the European people ... you only have a few more days to accept bin Laden's truce or you will only have yourselves to blame," said the statement purported to be from the Abu Hafs al-Masri Brigades which claimed responsibility for the March 11 train bombings in Spain which killed 191 people.

"Muslims in the West should depart to Muslim states if they can. Those who cannot should take precautions and live in Muslim areas, have enough food to last a month, find ways to protect themselves and their families, leave enough money in the house to last one month or longer and to pray a lot and put their fate in God's hands.

"The race now is between you, time and European governments which refused to stop their attacks against Muslims. So do not blame us for what will happen, and we apologize to you in advance if you are among those killed."

These people are at war with the whole world. Some people say "the west" but the truth is they are after anyone who is not Muslim. They want an Islamic world cut off from the rest of civilization. That's what most of there statements say in one way or another. The problem with that is it would just make matters worse.

Wurope has plenty "terrorists" blowing the place up - some are still at it since Roman times (Basques) - I doubt Osama will impress many.

Wow that is scary shit, but I think this is only to put more presure on the European goverments. If it happends it happends, securety is higher over here since 9-11 but if they want to blow something up they can do that, it not that hard really. I doubt anything will happen though, or I hope it won't. There's not much we can do about that, being scared all the time for a terrorist attack is not good either, and like I said: If they want to do it, it will happen. Running around like a chicken without a head won't do anyone any good:2 cents:

Yeah that is true, we have a lot of terrorist groups over here in Europe, last summer Eta blew a hotel up in the center of Benidorm during high season.

Euro govts don't give a toss about "terrorists" - they are used to bombings and I doubt the people will bother either - they never got their panties in a twist on previous occasions. The security services are "aware" and this kinda stuff is not high profile or invasive in daily life. I've felt the blast of a "terrorist" bomb (IRA), but was lucky by.. less than a minute.

But.. still boils down to people die - and they are not even involved in any "struggle" - that's the sad shit.

fall 2004: bin laden captured after attacks are successful and the world puts a higher demand on his whereabouts

fall 2004: bush is relected with the idea hes the only man who can bring this terrorism thing to an end after terrorists make more attacks threatening massive damage if bin laden is not let go.

2005: bush has an attempted assisination attempt on him along with VP
