Nah the acids cook it, so technically it isnt raw.

Shit I am laughing, you will get a damn spike put through your cock yet think I am brave for eating raw fish. :1orglaugh

I did visit Greece for 3 weeks when I was 11 and loved it to bits. Real roasted lamb in Greece in April is not be to trifled with. I am still searching for the cookies they had. They are an egg type cookie that I havne't found ANYWHERE. And that is very sad.

I would go out for good greek food at the drop of a hat. Good thing Vancouver has a wonderful Greek population. :) I was dying in Tucson. What they called "greek" food was certainly anything but.

psyko514 06-09-2004 11:19 PM

i love it too.

easton, surely you've had it at marven's in parc ex, right?

if you haven't, i suggest you do asap.

parthenon on van horne/cote des neiges is equally awesome.

Pino's is nice. I've never had the calamari there though.

Next time you're in the 514, check out Marven's. It's one of those quaint little mom n pop restaurants, but it's always packed.

For $11 or $12, you get a heaping plate of calamari with a side salad. They also give you a bottle of their famous sauce for your fries/calamari.

I've had the plate many times and I've never finished it.

The one thing I don't like about calamari is that it's not the type of food you can take home and warm up the next day. It just isn't the same.
