I found my sister!
 

after three years of not knowing if she was even still alive, I finally tracked her down yesterday.

And found out I have a new niece.

no, she just went MIA a few years ago, and we couldn't find her. Been trying ever since. So yesterday I got a new phone number to try, and struck gold. Was pure luck.

but hey, at least she's still alive.

My father died when I was nine months old and I was't too close to his side of the family. When I was twenty-five my Grandmother called me - my father's father - to tell me my sister wanted to talk to me. I told her she must have been mistaken being as I didn't have a sister.

I did have a sister, but no one bothered to tell me about her. Turns out my father, before he had married my mother, was married and had a child. Also born a week prior to my sister was a son, with a different woman. I could only imagine this was shocking in the mid 60's.

So when I was twenty-five I got to met both my brother and my sister for the first time.
