didnt say it was beneath me, being from there i dont hang in tourist bars. tourist places are for tourists, nola drinkers dont go to tourists places to have fun.

Never said anything about beneath me, I just prefer small punk rock clubs and other scenes.

I was going to Cats meow and Razoo when I was 18 ;) back then you could get in at 18 and drink, before I was 21, when i was 20 they changed the law to 21. ;)

I'm 22 btw - and just discovered a well hidden blues club in the ghetto of my town. Every last friday of the month is "White Night".. Not really allowed there any other times. But I'll be there once a month 4 sure. . :glugglug

I am familiar with the blues clubs from Thibodaux to Bastrop, from Slidell and Lacombe all the way to Biloxi.

My family has own and ran blues bars in new orleans for over 50 years.

It's in Natchitoches, called Rox or Rock's or something. I promise you've never heard of it. It's in a house in the ghetto. There is a sign outside that says "Dance Friday Night - Music by Hardrick Rivers". haha it's so awesome

yeah i know of a few places that are homes.

I have been around blues bands and musicians sicne I was a kid, its my trade. those places are hard to identify and usually dont have the laglities taken care of.

ive been to some back wood Black Man Blue Bars all across LA, i even been in trailer bars in Lacombe. I was the only white boy there, but since I know the owner and the band its all good, nothing but love from the south.

i have lived southern blues my whole life, blues is blood.

enjoy the spot but be careful and if I were you i would watch who is buying me drinks, GHB is very popular, one day you may regret drinking off guys so much. Dont think it cant happen to you or a friend, it does.
