why do you fall for a guy, that used to like you, after he finally gets with a new woman? why dont you be more open initially when the guy first approaches you?

It could be (this is just my hypothesis) that your female friend wanted to be friends for a while to check you out and maybe take things slow. Then this other girl comes along and you jump right into dating her, so girl #1's hand is forced and she has to accelerate her plans, therefore forcing her to admit her attraction to you and willingness to date.

But that's only if the world were a logical place, which it isn't.

7 years i knew this one girl. so i tried to date her after about 2 years. so the feeling out period was way over. and she didnt want to me. :( so i stayed friends with her because shes a real cool girl.


then, over the years she has always given a cold should to any girl that i dated. so recently she confessed to me that she wanted me. and i told her to back off because i was with another girl when she asked me.


long story short, shes put a huge wedge between our friendship now because i dont want to put up with her hiding her emotions anymore.

She sounds pretty flakey to me. She has no idea what she really wants or why she wants it. Tell her to call you when she gets her shit together. She'll stomp off and slam the door or hang up on you, but it's probably for the best.

What women want, and what women say they want are completely completely different things. Women say they want a guy who's nice, caring, affectionate, passionate, professional, attractive, respectful... etc etc. What they actually want is a guy who's the "alpha male", someone who's big, burley, and often times a complete idiot. And sometimes just being a complete idiot will suffice. Women are funny, because they'll equate someone who's attractive, to being intelligent, smart, and all those things they say they want. Women so often will take one look at a nicely dressed guy, driving a (fill in the blank), and say he's everthing they've been looking for WITHOUT knowing a damn thing about the guy.

So all you really need to do to for every woman to make all kinds of wonderful assumptions about you, is to dress nice, smell nice, look nice, and drive a nice car. With those bases covered, in her mind you'll be intelligent, caring, funny, affectionate, and respectful...

So just chalk it up to the fact that women are insane, and you'll be fine.

As you said; guy starts dating a new girl, girl #1 is now interested, because guy is dating girl 2. Why would it take another girl in the picture that girl #1 may have been interested the guy.

I forgot to add one more important point to my post. When you're unattractive, women make the same kinds of assumptions, but in a negative sense. You'll be unintelligent, uncaring, unaffectionate, disrespectful... all BEFORE you even open your mouth.

I don't think she's doing it conciously, and therefore it's not a "head game". She just thought she had him reserved for her own use for a while, but when another female entered the scene, she realized that she wanted what the other woman was getting.
