Normally, this would be laughable. However, what's the US going to do if Iran decides to come across the border?

Personally I think the Bush Administration wouldn't be that upset by the prospect if this happened after reelection. They are itching to take out as many ME nations as they can, but Iraq really stalled potential attacks on Syria, and perhaps even Iran. That said though, Iran is a pretty formidable force so their could be some nerves about going into an all out war.

All the smaller middle eastern countries are much more afraid of us, than we are of them. Not saying the USA is invincible, cause it definitely isn't, but the USA is bigger, has more weapons, etc.
