Advertising paysites on TGPS.
 

I've noticed for a while now that some shit converts and some doesn't. Its impossible to explain how that shit works, but it just does.

* Content - only exclusive/custome content works while advertising paysites on tgps. While you can advertise non-exclusive sites with other traffic, tgp traffic seen it all, and they are looking for something new and fresh.

* Price - a price is a big thing, while you might think differently, it's been proven for me that it plays a very important role. I find it very tought to convert anything that doesn't have a trial or costs a penny more than $24.95.

I enjoy reading threads like this. If there were more replies that is. From a n00b perspective in the adult game, these kinds of threads are very helpful to us. Thanks to the vets for starting stuff like this...

Most stuff is really hard to convert through TGPs. 10.000:1 and you are lucky :winkwink:

trials suck imho, if the sites you are promoting are good there is no reason why the surfer wont buy, nevermind the 24.95 barrier your imposing.

Some of the best sites out there have no trials and are priced between 25-30$ a month. If surfers are really juiced they will even buy at 60$ for 3 mnths....it happens all the time

sure, but thats what works for ME, so it MIGHT work for other people as well.
those are pointers, im not teaching anyone anything, im giving little advices on how you can improve your ratios. If something else works for you, you are welcome to post it here.

I have had good luck with banners like this, to get them to the site. Then it's up to the site to convert it to a sale.

I could post some stats for well known sponsors so you see that TGPs logicly badly convert (nothing under 1:1000).

I think I won't post anything here anymore anyway.

Here are 5 kind of people:

Lurkers who think you are all rich and stuff and think about opening their own lame ass paysites and getting rich.

Sigwhores who post business unrelated shit all day so they get sigviews and are maybe able to sell their sigs or make some cash through refs.Also they tell you that a sponsor is good when you post something bad about one even if they don't use it.They use this place as a lame chatboard for ratarded braindumps (Post a pic of your weapon,oh my boss at the college where I work just found out that I watch bad GFY at work and fired me etc.) and 99% of those people are not running their own adult related business.

Sponsors and Billers,most shave,make shitloads of money with often kinda crappy sites (Hey I pay 70$ per trial blah so promote my crap).

TGP owners who tell you TGP traffic is the best it'll actually convert as good as target SE traffic and will sell you a gallery spot for x hundret dollars per day.If they would get the conversions they wouldn't sell the spots (and I can tell you they don't),but of course they are always some lame excuses like "you need a quality gallery design and I don't have time for that " etc. etc.

And people who maybe even run their own sites,tell you how rich they are but don't know shit.

just because you can't convert gallery traffic doesn't mean others can't. sure its not as good as SE traffic, but if you can't convert under 1:1000 with tgp traffic you'll just waste any SE traffic you get.

SE advertising tactics are different from tgp advertising tactics. Just because a sponsor doesn't convert with tgp traffic doesn't mean it won't convert with se traffic.

I have to disagree about price, I have sent many sales to single girl sites that dont have trials.ie. Little April(29.95), converting at ~ 1:300 I have found that free trials convert at a similar ratio for me too.

Content, deffinately has to be new, dunno about exclusive?(It would help tho) just not seen by every second person.

IMO - All in all, it depends what kind of traffic, if you have a general straight TGP that gets 200k a day.. and your textlink on the gallery says 'DOWNLOAD THE VIDEOS' chances are every person with a mouse will click... ratios will be over 1:1000-2000

But yes, 5.000:1 - 10.000:1 isn't that rare,get out of your TGP dream wonderland where the worst conversion rate is 1:500 and every paysite member stays for at least a year so you get nice recurring money every month.

if you're too stupid to convert tgp traffic you'll waste SE traffic, ie your ratios will be higher than they should be. give that SE traffic to someone who knows how to convert and ratios will be much better.

sites that do well with tgp's simply kick ass on SE's.

Exclusive and unique work well on TGP's as there is an abundance of them out there. How many times have people seen galleries for one paysites sites who has 10000 webmasters vs the smaller program with only 50 webmasters.

I dont think price has a ton to do with it, up to a certain level.

I used to think the same way, but I was wrong. 1:100 is doable on tgp.
