Baby Born the size of a 3 month old

Wow I can't imagine the mother carrying a baby that big.. LOL..

May 20, 2004A very unusual baby was born in in Mexico this week. Blanca Rosa de Leon Garcia gave birth to a bouncing boy that weighs more than 13 pounds, about the size of a three-month-old infant.

The head of Mexico's National Institute of Health says the newborn's size is "exceptionally rare." Only about about 1 in 40,000 babies are that big at birth, he estimated.

Salvador Garcia, the baby's father, said the family is "very happy."

?We didn?t expect this though, now we have to buy bigger clothing because what we have is not going to fit," he said.

Pedro Garcia was delivered by Caesarean section.

my last child was 10 lbs..15 inch head that little beast had on him, he was twice the size of all the other babies in the nursery..he had to eat every hour .. no infant size diapers..we had to buy our own and bring them to the hopsital. I couldnt hold the big sucker like a newborn..it was like having a baby that was a few months old. I didnt realize how big his head was till i would get him beside other kids and compare...we called him cranium boy as a baby ..can't get away with it now that he is older.. he would kick your ass for sure...

no more babies for me.. told dr to spay me or i would kill him ..no woman needs to go thru childbirth with huge ass babies..except huge ass women (tall not fat)!

Too many puppies
are being shot in the dark
too many puppies
are trained not to bark
at the sight of blood that must be spilled
so that we may maintain our oilfields

my sister in law had a baby boy that was 10 pounds at birth. He was a big baby. Full head of hair and everything. My wife thought she was lying about his age when she first saw him.

The great Russian weightlifter Alexiev weighed about 13 pounds when he was born. Natural childbirth in some town off the beaten path. :thumbsup

They should show a picture of the baby next to a normal-sized newborn for comparison. :2 cents:
