Do you hate children?
I do. They annoy the hell out of me. I don't see why anyone voluntarily has these things.
|
I'm also annoyed by them, but I'd be nothing but completely naive to think that my opinion won't completely change if the day comes that I have them. I don't hate them. I just don't like being around them, but that is simply because I just don't "get it" yet. Eventually, I will. I know that I am wrong in my opinion now.

Only the ones within a 1 km radius of where I am........LOL

*Clint Eastwood voice*
The question you gotta ask yourself at a time like this is, did my mother have any kids that lived? */Clint Eastwood voice* I once saw a bumper sticker that said: "children should be beaten and not heard" Some people's kids, I tell you. |
You don't learn what life is all about until the day you create life yourself.
It changed my entire perspective on everything from a to z. You won't experience anything as profound on your soul until the day that little head pops out and you realize the power of God is within all of us. |
i can't tell i do, until they become adults!:1orglaugh

I don not ever hate children, actually I love them, I really really like their company, I do enjoy playing ang mingling with them.... it's sad to hear that there are people who got annoyed with them, those kids who are for me are always lovely and fun to be with.

I'm glad I have my kids.. the youngest may drive me completely mad most of the time.. but they are the reason I have some kind of direction in my life. Some women get that urge a little later in life.. it happens..no denying the hormones.. I know I would not want to grow old without any family to love me . |
The only fun part of having children would be actually disciplining them and then when people ask why your children behave and theirs are little monsters, explain the concept of spanking.

I hate people who don't control their children. I rather enjoy kids, actually.
|
They are OK broiled but, yes I do hate the fried ones.
|
most of them, yes. I didn't even like then when I was a kid.

I love children. You just have to be patient and understanding to live with them. :)

most common reasons people have children:
- accident probably the most common reason .. too lazy/irresponsible to use birth control. - tradition family/social pressure .. not having kids isn't really even presented as an option. - ego the "look what I made/ I am god / extension of myself / immortality by proxy" selfish urge but these are just conscious rationalizations of a hidden genetic agenda. :2 cents: |
I like kids by proxy, my sister brings them by for a few hours and by the time Uncle Erehwon is tired of them, they disappear. :1orglaugh
W.C. Fields had it right on the money, but I really like my nephew's dog. :) Anyone who hates children and animals can't be all bad. W. C. Fields I like children - fried. W. C. Fields I never met a kid I liked. W. C. Fields Women are like elephants. I like to look at 'em, but I wouldn't want to own one. W. C. Fields |
Children that are not my own can get on my nerves very easily.....of course...my own children can get on my nerves. They keep life interesting though, and I think along the way the kids taught me a few things.
Things like putting others before myself...working long past the point of exhaustion to make someone else's life better...they have taught me how to laugh harder...and cry longer...they have taught me responsibility and how to see life's innocence. They have forced me to be creative and showed me how to adapt and be devoted. I guess the most important thing they taught me though was how to love someone with every fiber of my being...and just when I think it is impossible to love anything anymore than I do them....they give me a certain look sometimes and I understand that my love will always continue to grow for them, that there is no limit. |
