I rented three DVD of Andrew Blake because of the box covers' description of the story and pictures. This guy is probably the worse porn director, alll the movies I saw was nothing more than a music video with alot of slow motion and naked girls in the background, none had any story at all... what kind of shit is that.

This guy should be doing videos for MTV, he doesn't belong in porn...what a waste of $10:mad:

Yeah these videos have almost no porn in them. It's like watching those fashion show with girls that look good in nice clothes posing...

A couple of his earlier ones I bought, definitely were porn. And bloody good as well.

i don't like Andrew Blake and the others who produce 'passion porn' - the arty stuff. To me porn is to wack off to. I watch film and music videos to see interesting ideas, camera work, lighting etc.

I think Andrew Blake does very well, there are guys who will buy that stuff cuz they can feel too dirty renting the nasty stuff - the big market for Andrew Blake is cable and PPV plus the DVDs.

Porn watching is like crack - u build up a tolerance - cuz I do remember getting hold of an Andrew Blake movie 20 years ago and loved it - had a gorgeous Dutch pornstar named Zara Whites in it, one of the most beautiful women ever to do hardcore. I would be bored to tears if I rented that movie today.

I'm pretty bored of all porn, all looks the same, i get more turned on when somebody posts a picture of a celeb showing a nipple or one of the non-talent girls here posts a picture of herself.

porn is for people who dont know real film. ;) porn directors direct what they do because they cant direct other things. Porn actreses and actors act in porn because they cannt get work in the mainstream acting world...

Andrew Blake is my favourite porn director, actually. He has done hardcore movies as well, but he specializes in the fetishy, artsy stuff. My favourite is Aroused and then probably Pinups 2. :)

an amazing story happened while I was at "Studio A" booth at Avn :

A very nice girl was walking the aisle with her boyfriend and Andrew spoted her, so he called her inside the booth for an interview about possibly being one of the next Blake's girl, so I leave them alone and while I was walking out of the booth, I hoped that this girls was realizing the luck she was having...

Wowzers! I wonder if she gave it a shot! That would be sooooo awesome. I mean, I wouldn't want to be in any old porno video, but I'd be totally honoured to be in a Blake video. (not a b/g scene, mind you).

Andrew Blake is a great director. His movies are the kind of films you watch with a girlfriend to get her all hot and steamy as most chicks don't go for that hardcore stuff.

Andrew Blake sells DEEP, and his shit aint cheap. BTW his covers are a very accurate depiction of his directing style. Post the covers you rented and tell how it was misleading.

The dvds were returns. I don't thing there was one word sponken any any of the videos, not much of a story if no one talks!

Raw porn is mainly for the curious. Hot women and high production standards are what you need for loyalty. And as someone said, when it comes to video, a lot of the market is for couples, not just the lone loser wanting to jack off.

I have always found it is easier to sell the nasty or bizarre stuff, whatever you want to call it. But you cannot beat the retention you get from using material like Andrew Blake's and his counterparts in the stills market.
