I wanna know what the hell is wrong with people around here? Everytime I open up a seemingly intelligent thread to attempt to reply, it never fails that the thread turns into an all out bloodbath where one, or several people are involoved bashing one another. The threads rarely EVER stay on topic anymore, because people are too busy verbally bashing one another about their opinion, or sexual prefferance, or use of vocabulary, or even spelling for that matter. What happened to the theory of having a public forum where people are entitled to voice their own opinion, and are NOT publicly humiliated for it? GEEZ!

I can understand that this is a public forum..but why bash peope and insult them if they dont have the same opinion as you do?

True, but the point I think she is trying to make is that if you click on a thread that sounds like it has content in it that you want to read about, you have to sift through pages of other peoples dirty laundry to find anything worth commenting on.

unfortunately not everyone in the board is in the industry - so you will get some outside influence that would ruin it. Normally happens late at night and during the time after school is let out.

I agree, a lot of keyboard warriors on this board, particularly the ones making the threats of physical violence. Funny to be sure but just stupid.

That being said though, this board does have it's name for a reason.

Most boards are actually moderated by people who have a clue. I mean this board happily allows a pedo to post. I don't think verbal bashing is even an issue. And yet the only people that get banned seem to get banned for trivial reason compared to something like supporting CP. But that's GFY, it's all about the buck. And most the drama is fake any ways. I wouldn't take it seriously.

Go to any forum on the net with a lot of posters and almost every thread turns into a fight. Guess it's just the nature of web forums.

I totally think its ok to joke around with one another--besides, I know we all have a great sense of humor here, but when I open up a thread thinking it is gonna contain some sort of substance, I'm usually dissapointed.

i'd have to agree w/ you sarah... it would be nice to see some massive banning start happening here, i wouldn't miss any of this new crop of postwhores for a second, and i'd really love to see the whole "sig" thing go away for good, its done nothing but attract a bunch of punks that just make worthless posts to punch up their postcount day in and day out. i don't bother reading here like i used to, there isn't much point sifting through the reams of trash we've garnered this year here on GFY these days..
