Thank you George W Bush for everything you have done for this great country of ours. You really have Americas best interest in mind. :warning

Oh, here is more great news. 26 years old and under, your going to war via draft in March 2005. Thank you again Mr. Bush. Maybe we will have someone from GFY get killed?
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...1521&ncid=1480

Thank this guy too.

Now let the brain washed sheeps vote for these guys again. History repeats itself, because the fools fail to remember.

The Truth Hurts 04-20-2004 02:43 PM

Kinda makes you wonder...

do you think these people enter the military expecting to get paid to get up early and exercise?

DreamCumTrue 04-20-2004 02:44 PM

No one made them join the military it was their choice.

And as for the draft that is supposedly starting next year, lets hope the war is over by then.

Thats what I think, too. They joined for the free college, free room and board etc and dont want to do anything in return.

They made the choice.

Obviously you don't follow world events...the "war" aint going anywhere next year. If were lucky, we will be out of Iraq in 5 years. If we are unlucky, we get another 4 years of the Bush, and a few other wars. How old are your kids? Better start preparing them.

I think they were expecting to "fight for their country" or better yet, to "defend their country"

Right now, they fight for the hidden agenda of a proven liar.

I'm sure a lot of them enter the military expecting to invade and occupy other nations, that's a nobrainer.

Abyss_Vee 04-20-2004 03:26 PM

DR_PHIL 04-20-2004 03:32 PM

its funny how all these soldiers are getting killed in my area but yet the dead totals barely move. Those totals have to be more than double by now. Such bullshit

Raf1 04-20-2004 03:46 PM

This is the truth, gang, and don't forget it.

In boot camp, we are taught that it is our honor to defend our country and our constitution against enemies, both foreign and domestic. Why the hell can't we defend our country against its domestic terrorists, namely Dubya and Co.?

My friend Marty Malloy is in Afghanistan. They didn't tell him he was going until a week beforehand. A FUCKIN WEEK. I didn't hear about it until he was already gone, and his daughter told me. So much for my trip to Washington this year.

FUCK YOU GEORGE W. BUSH. YOU'RE A WORTHLESS PIECE OF SELF-RIGHTEOUS BULLSHIT.

All I can hope now is that we can get these soldiers, sailors, and Marines back home as quickly and safely as possible. :(

A guy I used to work with joined the reserves for some extra college money. We'll he just got back from being on active duty for the last two years. He started out in Afghan came back for about a month then was shipped to Iraq.

Pre 9-11 most people that joined the reserves would have never thought in a million years that they would serve 2 years straight

American citizens that run to Canada in a time of draft can still be drafted, or thrown in jail..

America signed a law with Canada about it.... go to Mexico, you'll be safe there :)

candyflip 04-20-2004 06:40 PM

I like this quote from the linked article:

"Why shouldn't we ask all of our citizens to bear some responsibility and pay some price?"

What the fuck is this? Aren't we footing the goddamned bill?

Those guys are fucking morons. How about his dumbass strap up and go to Iraq if he believes so strongly about it? Fucking dick weeds can only give orders behind a desk.

Mr. Marks 04-20-2004 06:43 PM

Everyday we read and hear about what is going on in other countries around us. And everyday we dread to hear news of more American soldiers dead. Will there be no end to this?

Imagine that... dying in the military. Who'd a thunk??

Please post a photo of yourself so I can add a caption above it. I've got a great one in mind.

Doctor Dre 04-20-2004 06:52 PM

And just imagine all the irakis that will hate the states ... there are probably 5000 time more irakis dead then american soldiers.

Right or wrong, a soldier follows his Commander in Chief. The overwhelming majority of soldiers back President Bush. Enough said...

"I don't want to die for you, but if dying's asked of me I'll bear that cross with honor..."

Uh, youre dreaming right? Let's see
Israel - Palastina - 40 years at war
Iran - Iraq - 20 years at war
Saudi Arabia and Eqypt - oh, lets see how about around 100 years of enemy combatent

What in the world makes you think were going to leave gracefully from Persia?

We INVATED a Muslim Country, surrounded by Muslims (except Israel which doesn't border) youre kidding right?

I am figuring about 10 years we will be there.. Give or take 20

That's right. These soldiers are dying to stop more terrorist attacks on america.. or biological/nuclear attacks. I'm sure they die with pride and honor.

Persia? I think you mean Iraq(Persia = Iran)... but I agree with you.

chodadog 04-20-2004 06:59 PM

Wrap your noodle around this one. In combat, soldiers die. It's what they signed up for. The military trains you, pays you, and educates you, and in return, you risk your life and follow whatever orders they give you. That's the deal.

Maybe the US shouldn't have had the war of independence. I mean, people died in that. Oh no!

slackologist 04-20-2004 07:03 PM

I wonder if the military sign-up rate has dropped off now the advertising of free college and playing with expensive 'toys' is mixed with coffins coming home.

Bambi911xx 04-20-2004 07:20 PM

Why not post pictures of cops that die in the line of duty too then? I mean it's basically the same thing isn't it?

http://www.angelfire.com/ego/atticool/shckpic.jpg

The gruesome bodyshot of a dead cop.

I suppose we should close down our Police depts too?

:helpme

looks like an easy way to get free college, but you never get anything for free in this world. still the odds are good that you will come back if you go...

COOL!

A dead cop always makes my day :winkwink:

And those recruiters are sucky. It's like a fucking MLM. They're always telling me it's cool and you get to get money for college and you'll be ripped when you get back and it's a piece of cake and stuff. I'm like please, JBM and then GFY.

frankthetank 04-20-2004 08:20 PM

they are the fucking ones that signed up. war isnt war without deaths.

My "jollies in Washington" as you so put it are but one example of lives being pulled apart. Granted, mine isn't a big deal at all, nothing like the deaths of the troops, the lives of their families torn apart, and the way America no longer seems to believe in their leader.

Marty is my best friend. He lives on the other side of the country, and I don't see him often. It was just one of those things that happens, and I just have to reschedule. That's how it goes. I'm glad that I can reschedule. I wish those who have died hadn't, and I wish that no more would. :(
