Went great! It'll be 10 days tomorrow. I have a checkup in the morning. I'll let everyone know what my vision is at after that.

24 hours after the surgery I was seeing between 20/40 and 20/30. Doc said that most are at 20/40 or a bit worse at that point.

No problem with halos, etc.. but I paid extra for the Customvue Wavefront technology that's supposed to help prevent them.

Did your eyes hurt long ? I am too scared to do anything like this. Eye sucked up into some metal ring while they slice it.. EWWW

Great PK - Good thing you don't see halos too! My friend's mom was just telling me that she sees halos but it's better than what she couldn't see before!

Didn't hurt at all. They gave me a valium before and anesthetic drops in the eyes several times. Gave me a bottle of drops with the anesthetic drops in them to use the first 24 hours if needed. Told me to go home and sleep (thanks to a Xanax). I didn't really need the anesthetic drops at home. Some people say they feel like there's an eyelash in their eye that they can't blink out for the first few hours. I didn't feel that.
