Until then, I comment on the big piles of crap that are being posted here, mainly non-biz oriented, the lack of the search function drives people away (especially lurkers)... generally the lack of depth.

Then again the recent sig buying/selling trend should have given the graph a bump up, but I guess the lurkers are the ones that are leaving... and causing the graph to collapse.

Look at the 2 year chart right smack in the middle of 2003 and 2004 in the overall picture of things.

Look at everything before June 2003 and then everything after.

What do you see?

it's not traffic - it's RANK. a site can still grow but if other sites grow faster your RANK goes down.

If surfers coming in here selling their sigs lowered the quality of the board, then I think that could stop growth.

All we have after June 2003 is a leveling off.

you see that there's a plateau lasting about a year... with some some peaks and downs.. when those small peaks end.. I call it "normal" for teh year... call it whatever you like...

I wish we could have all the graphs even before the 2 year mark.

GFY was created Jan 2001 for the Public.
I became Mod in 2002 and represented it.
In June 2003 I was dismissed.

Id like to see the graphs prior to 2002 also compared to 2002 to 2003 and then 2003 to 2004.

I bet 2001-2002 was big groth as well.

but the major chunk of it was 2002 to June 2003..

Id bet my fucking life on it...

Looks according to plan. We've been booting the retards around here. It's a behind the scenes thing, expect more bozos to go. GFY is #1, it doesn't need to have a bunch of non-pros to prop up ratings even more.
