Gameznflix

They have more movies than Netflix plus have games as well as they are cheaper.

you pretty happy with the service? and how bad are the queues for recent movies?

Brujah 04-06-2004 06:35 AM

Netflix is netflix

Gameznflix is a different company. they are the new kids on the block trying to capture the DVD and video game market.

They just started airing their TV commercial. They just locked down a contract with the former spokesperson for Dell. You know the "Dell Dude" Those commercials will be aired in May targeting the age group 12-25.

They are so new, they don't even have an affiliate program yet.
I currently hold stock in this company though : ))

Brujah 04-06-2004 07:08 AM

Added Pi, 25th Hour.

Seen Magnolia, Transporter, Shawshank.. all worth seeing.

Netflix has a shipping center nearby which means I can return 3 movies, and 2 days later in most cases I have 3 more to replace them.

So, shipping is a big reason why Netflix is worth using in Tampa or even Orlando area. Anywhere near a center would be worthwhile.

You should star in a flick like that Steph, you rock. :winkwink:

scoreman 04-06-2004 07:49 AM

Battle Royale was sure interesting...but Ichi the Killer.....ehhhhhhh

The Asian movie scene is something that Netflix allows you to check out, since most local rental shops dont carry these movies. Of those, I really liked
Shaolin Soccer

Ong Bak

Zatôichi

and a whole slew of
Hayao Miyazaki

and Akira Kurosawa movies.

Ong-bak, couldn't find that one but added the other two and will check them out.

scoreman 04-06-2004 07:55 AM

Ong Bak was the #1 box office movie for Thailand in 2003. Hands down the best martial arts movie I've seen in a long time. Unreal fight scenes. Here is a good review of the movie:
