SleazyDream 04-05-2004 10:18 PM

legonds of the fall is one of the few movies that brings a tear to my eye - the end scene when the older brother comes back outa nowhere and takes a sniper shot. Always gets me.

outside of movies I rarly cry, except for a recent incident it has been years and years since I did.

i do that too - stuff like that tears me up. but lets define this a little more - not just for KRL but for everyone here.

when was the last time tears came outa your eyes and you phycially cried?

I hadn't experienced that in YEARS - maybe 10 plus. in a way it's liberating. unbelieveable release.

NiTe-HaWk 04-05-2004 10:27 PM

It has been a while I would say 6 months. Before that it was like a year.

RainMailer 04-05-2004 10:29 PM

Everytime my wife wakes up in pain. I pray to GOD that someday the doctors will find out whats causing her neuropathy problems with her legs. I feel so helpless, I wish there was something I could do. It also makes me sad when she worries about the doctor bills. I work harder and harder each day to ease that worry. Thats why I am here to learn from the best to make some extra cash.

As iI stated above it was march 1st of this year...but the day my mother died I cried non-stop for about 24 hours. I never knew someone could cry that much.

BigFrog 04-05-2004 10:30 PM

i live in farm country.....lots of wood burnin cats and such.
the other day i saw a cat had been run over and another cat was sitting right next to it sulking.
that brought a tear to my eye.

other than that i always cry at sad movies.

sidenote: the part in legends of the fall that makes me cry the most is when the father comes outside from the house to say hello to samuel. 1st time you see him after he had his stroke and that always makes me cry.
i admit it....im a wuss.

Yeah. the strange this is, sometimes the pictures of the horrible things people do to animals affect me more than if they had been done to people. Dunno why.

OK I get really sad and often cry when my son, who's 9, goes on trips with my ex-wife. I miss him like crazy when he's gone for a week or two.

And it tears me up that he has to go back and forth between two homes with his little suitcase all the time. I feel guilty and sad he has to go through that routine all the time even though he seems to like it.

Everytime I see him there packing for the weekend, I just look thinking its sad that kids have to get caught up in all the crap from a divorce.

when my brother got accepted to grad school last week, i suppose i squeezed out a tear (hey, we were pretty drunk). other than that, when i broke up with my gf in March 2002.

Babagirls 04-05-2004 10:40 PM

last week...my best friend (my fuckin soul mate) moved out of state for the next 5-7 years on business.

im sure the alchohol played a part in it, but the last night i was with him was really hard for me. :(

SleazyDream 04-05-2004 10:43 PM

it's not an emotion I want to engage in on a regular basis - admitted it's one i hadn't experienced in years, but after some major crying i'm left sitting here experiencing just how much of an emotional realease a good cry is. In a way you loose controll, but somehow it's a good way. What it does for the endorphines in your brain is truly amazing.

BigFrog 04-05-2004 10:45 PM

oh, you mean the heavy crying.....bawling and shit.

about a month and half ago....when i realized my wife and i werent meant to be together. hit me like a brick....and i dont think it was any particular event that lead me to that conclusion....but it became very obvious....and realizing that youve lost 7 years of your life to the wrong person isnt a good feeling. so yeah, i bawled. then i moved out and havent looked back.....and i must say i am much happier now than i have been for a long long time.

titmowse 04-05-2004 10:47 PM

i'm perimenopausal. i cry when i watch trading spaces. :helpme

Those are good once they're done, but frustrating for anyone around you. They have to just sit there and wait it out. But everyone has them, so I just hope your loved ones were understanding.

I think the last time I had a good one was a few months ago. Halfway through I realized I wasn't crying about whatever had started the whole thing, but I kept going anyways, just to get it out of my system.

Now it's time for some cheer you up ice cream. :)

Elli 04-05-2004 11:14 PM
