Mike From Madthumbs Is Stuck In Mexico!!
Now this is about the funniest story I have heard this year!
I just got off the phone with my partner Cameron from GTS and it seems Mike from Madthumbs is STUCK in Mexico. Mike went on a huge binge over the past 3 days and ran up a 20k bar tab at a club in Cancun. (trust me for Mike this is a very doable thing). Supposedly JLo was in the same club and Mike was trying to keep up with her crew. Anyways he didn't have enough on his Visa Check Card to cover the charges so the bar in question seized his passport and drivers license until he could pay the tab. Needless to say he can't get back to the States without his passport or drivers license and he has already missed his flight. Cameron just drove down to Western Union to send Mike some money to clear up his bar tab and get his passport back. LOL! The things we do for our site owners!! $20K - run for the border. he's an american citizen, he must still have SOME ID, that's all it'll take to get back into the USA.- and just claim that he lost his passport and they'll reissue another one for a LOT less than $20K.
there's only about 3-4 places worth going to in mexico - no biggy to take mexico off one's travel list for life. |
