It's been a while, but I think thats actually SextrafficPete (don't know what his current nick is).

Not to defend Jive since lots of his posts were...a little strange at least, but i very dbout he promoted CP.
IMO He simply registered or bought lots of domains few years ago ( some of them happened to be good type-ins ) and then he redirected them to sponsors withtout actually thinking what he's got.

If I remember right him and a bunch of other webmasters were acting like asses and being rude to people in a public restaurant, they started talking smack about this dude's (the guy in the bluish shirt) chick and he got up and confronted the whole table. They all backed down from him.
